Hi all, another confused cemu user, I've managed to get so far with getting the mod pack in but finding that it is only showing the vanilla tracks - if anyone knows what i'm doing wrong, give me a shout please.

To me now looking more into it, it looks like the CTGP Cafe is required to make this all work but due to it's owner discontinuing that part of it, it won't work on cemu at all.

Thanks for checking. I tried with chrome and jdownloader2 and get the same error. Very strange.

I wouldn't think it matters, especially since the download starts, but I see you're in the UK, maybe try using a VPN to say you're in America and see what that does for you.

There is an even better Switch mod in the works, think it's called CTGP DX, same idea but more functional than what I've presented here (as in custom music for additional tracks works and I believe allows for new custom mapobjs). So if you're patient it looks like you'll get what you're looking for.

I removed the custom characters from this modpack so I could add my own. However I can't seem to locate the location of the icons (for the menus and map and such) for the included mods. They don't seem to be in menu.szs where I thought icons like this were stored. Are they somewhere else or am I just the big dum?

Iirc they live in the common file and are named map_chara and ed_chara with corresponding character name.

Oh there has been no progress on anything more since this release. I hope no one is waiting on anything more, because this is probably it, maybe I'll change up the course selection at some point as more better custom courses are created and ported, but the polish would be the same. The creator of CTGP-Cafe that is running this whole thing just kinda disappeared along with his discord, and without the actual work of the person that actually knew what they were doing here, I'm completely lost in regards to improving how this all works. Which is a shame, but it is what it is.

Ah shame. I thought you'd figured it out. All good as it's an awesome collect for the best courses in one place as is.

So i assume then the placeholder/duplicate stock tracks can't be changed at this moment then? Shame to have it go to waste or can it be removed to allow more content like music? Just curious!

Nope, everything is as streamlined as I can possibly make it. Everything that's rough around the edges is just the way that it is, hence that alpha label it will forever be stuck with.

Ah well. It's still a fine collection as is tho so thanks for the effort and insight. Shame the guys went rogue and left it closed, so much potential with it.

...either way i'll give it a try since MK8D on Switch is how I play online and with my brother anyway, while I'll enjoy this one on wii u. Thanks for your work, and can't wait to try it out!
