Snes Romhacker Gizaha updated his MSU-1 patch for Street Fighter Alpha 2.
The patch only works with the USA version of the game.
I can´t link to the source for legal reasons.
Instead I attached the patch file below.

20210202 changelog:

Many speed tweaks. Without SA-1.
Restore Nash/Sodom names (except after fight stats)
Small changes, taken from arcade (like slomo duration after KO)

-------------------------
Previous patches is "child's play".
Gameplay speed is better, many slowdowns removed. Even the hardest test, Zangief vs Zangief at Nash stage.

Turbo mode is based at "frameskip". It runs occasionally the player's code
twice before draw the frame. Now it can do it without lag frame.

I took from arcade the table that choose the frequency "frameskip" occurs. Now Turbo1 and Turbo2 match arcade speed. (turbo1 skips 3/16, turbo2 skips 4/16).

Slowmotion when player is hitted from projectile is normal. Arcade has exact the same code.

I use an SD2SNES and I can't get the sound to work as there is no .msu file.... I have pcm packs and the patch applied to the rom, which now has all the fix... but no sound. :(

SD2SNES doesn't support MSU-1 with additional special chip, for example, on Kirbys using SA-1 it won't work either. FX PAK Pro does support both chips.

I just tried this out. Guys this is a game changer! Not only does it improve the music but it totally removes the slowdowns and loading times! I wish there was something like this for the GBA version of Street Fighter Alpha 3. That one got AWFUL audio.

Is there a variant that removes the slowdowns but retains the original SNES music? I'd like to throw this on my SNES Classic Mini but not eat up all the storage with the MSU-1 music.

Is this the same as as those crappy yt clickbaiters used that show it but do not tell you where to find the patches?
