Black screen has all the files needed

Maybe a bad Data.rsdk file?
Because i have the exact size of the Data.rsdk file and it works fine for me.

I will give the CRC of the Data.rsdk i have for get the port working.

Same CRC-32 here.

Can't find my Wii to test though. ¬_¬

I got mine from my Steam download of the game.

Does it still work? I own the switch version, but I'm unhacked so I can't get it from the game. As a result, I downloaded the file from a vita link and Google. It's worked on all, just make sure you don't use the android version's or it will have touch screen controls. This happened with me and the 3ds, and the game is displayed on the top screen.

Yes it does (outside of the ultra slow 3d stages)

I was able to compile the web assembly version of sonic mania. I've now compiled every version of it. :D

I gave it a whirl and played 2x levels and things ran fine. However, the 3D levels are slow af which prevented me from clearing the stage. Other than that, I look forward to more further optimizations to this port.

I think the developer said he'd have to modify the rendering code for the gpu to fix the special stages. I think it was @SaulFabre posted an issue on his github.
 
Last thing to note, for those who followed the instructions on the github page and get a subsequent black screen after loading the game from the homebrew channel: you have to be patient. I waited 20 secs before the game finally launched on my first try. Hope this minor detail helps those who are too impatient to get the game to work, lol.

yup i had to wait 30 secs in my case (for load it on first time, after that it takes about 20 secs to load) for be able to play this Sonic Mania Wii port.

Can someone make a forwarder for the regular Wii? (or maybe make both Wii and vWii forwarders?)
I remember my friend @Zorg1996 had made a beautiful banner and icon for Sonic Mania but it was made for VC SEGA Genesis (a romhack of original Sonic 1).
I will take the banner and icon of this game and i will make a Wii/vWii forwarder.
 
I can make a wuhb, but it does require a vwii forwarder, since it scans internal storage rather than the sd card for specific title ids using boot2vwii. it only works with aroma too, and in this case, might as well use the wiiu version instead. ;)

I don't know how to make a forwarder though, so @SaulFabre is on it.
 
I've finished my Sonic Mania Wii port forwarder.
Avaliable for Wii and vWii of Wii U.

Thanks to @Zorg1996 for the original channel banner and channel icon design, i've tweaked a bit for make it look like a Wii (WiiWare) game.

The vWii forwarder i've converted using WiiForwarder2vWii.

EDIT: Both forwarders load the boot.dol in this location: apps/SonicMania/boot.dol

SD card tested only, i haven't tested it in a USB drive.

I think the title id is SOMA, based on what I saw in hex. I made a wuhb for aroma, which directs it to that vwii forwarder, so install that first:

Unsure if this is being worked on by the dev. When I use my save from the PC version, The extras are unlocked such as the D.A garden, but not the progress files from Mania and Encore mode.
