Access save file for injected nds game

I’ve been playing dragon quest 9 as an injected vc ds game. I would like to access and edit my save file. I’ve tried using savemii but I guess it doesn’t work for injected games because it doesn’t show up when I run the application.

Are there other options or other applications that backup saves for injected games?

For anyone’s future reference, i used dumpling to dump the save file. Which is pretty much the same function as savemii but for some reason the files were hidden for savemii
