yeah I too have seen that making some changes (including disabling plugins and settings) causes crashes. I'll check it out, but for now I recommend to change settings and plugins on recovery by launching ARK while holding the R button (this bypasses the custom launcher and also runs ARK in recovery mode).
It seems to work fine with only Inferno cache enabled in game for me right now, memory stick speed up disabled. No more crash so far.

Strange, I don't recall doing any changes to that feature. Does it crash even if you coldboot ARK with the feature enabled?

I can confirm I got a crash after a few iso launch with the memory stick speed up option enabled again.
I don't get any crash with it disabled so far. Maybe it was the reason for my random crashes on various isos all along.

Thanks for the report, I will definitely look into it, but for now it's been really difficult to replicate for me.

It doesn't work with PS1 games on Vita.

Do you know if some PSP games require a plugin (like npdrm_free or others) to work in PSP's and PS Vita's ARK-4?

Also, should I test every game I have on PS Vita's standalone ARK-4 (I can't test the games in the PSP since the microSD card adapter broke) and tell you if they work or have slowness issues or should I blindly trust ARK-4 and use it after removing PRO-C and Adrenaline?

I wouldn't recommend getting rid of Adrenaline unless you don't really need it or don't really like it.

Stop worrying about compatibility issues, every CFWs have their own compatibility, if we were to have lists for every CFW ever we would never finish. If you encounter a bug just report it and it'll be patched.
Just play your games and enjoy them, there's no point in being pessimistic or excepting bad things to happen.

People have used this CFW on the widest range of devices and models than any CFW has been capable of. It can run on the old PSP 1K, it can run on the Slim and Bright, it can run on the Go, it can run on the Street, it can run on the Vita (all three models) and it can even run on the DTP-T1000 (the development devices used by big game studios to make their games).
It can read all known ISO formats (CSO, ZSO, JSO, DAX) and it can play legacy 1.50 homebrew via Leda plugin.

Seriously I'm not gonna bother listing all the features that are already listed in the README (have you read the README?), if you're too worried that your PS Vita will explode into a black hole and destroy the universe because of ARK then just don't use it and you'll be more confident.

OK, I guess I'll test my games and let you know.

I want to get rid of Adrenaline because of the slowness issue and I don't need two programs to do the same (run PSP backups and homebrew). I'm worried about standalone ARK-4's (and PRO-C's and Adrenaline's) PSP game and homebrew compatibility.

Anyway, could you answer my first question?

You still need adrenaline to run ps1 games unless you don't play ps1 games, which is btw an issue cause I'd like to try the ArkRightAnalog plugin which conflicts with adrenaline plugin aparently.

acid snake already told you, you must read, that's the main problem with you, you don't pay attention to read and just follow steps without knowing what you are doing or what they are for.

When I read it in ARK-4's GitHub repository's README.md, it wasn't mentioned PS Vita's standalone ARK-4 couldn't run PS1 games and before I complained it wasn't also mentioned a PSN game had to be installed to make PS Vita's standalone ARK-4 work, so it's not my fault. Also, others confirmed they had problems with some PSP games so why am I to blame?

Anyway, in the PSP, why is ARK Loader needed?

ARK Loader is the "temporary" exploit and also the ARK-4 installer if you use Infinity you don't need it anymore.

So, may ARK Loader be deleted and games be ran from the XMB if using Infinity and ARK-4? If so, how will the features that are only available (I guess) after running ARK Loader be accessed?

you are getting confused ARK Loader is only the installer and launcher of xploit, and if you want to access those options you have the VSH Menu.
and why do you want to remove ARK Loader? if you need it if you want to update ARK-4 it doesn't take much storage.

I thought the VSH and Recovery Menus were only accessible in ARK-4 after running ARK Loader in the PSP.
