Which emu gives you higher reso on the switch? can't seem to find the option on Retroarch.GBA on the switch is better if you want extras like higher resolution, filters...
But if you want accuracy, 3ds is the way to go as it runs gba games natively thanks to the onboard gba hardware, via injections or open_agb_firm.

I found out playing on standalone mGBA emulator on the switch with pixel-perfect screen mode enabled on the configuration gives amazing result. I'm doing it on my OLED screen, it's so crisp and the contrast is really good. mGBA retroarch's core is quite blurry so I don't recommend it.mgba or retroarch (you can't find it but it's somewhere)
For NDS, I would say GBA but I hate how blurry it is and the dpad being down on the console (but it's the same on the Switch so .... whatever)
