So, i went on a 2 week vacation and when i got back home i was trying to turn my wii u aaanddd..... it would give no sign of life, so.... what now? got the sd card and such in but still doesnt work.

How do you define "no sign of life" ? Does the LED turn on, does the fan spin? Is the power cord plugged in?

When you plug the charger, and let it in for over like at least 5 hours. try again, if no function at al shows, it might be the battery or the charger circuit.
i mean i thought the wiiu had a battery.

see i didn't do my homework properly... forget this battery part, you'll need to check your power supply most likely.
does it smell fish like? check capacitors.
smell burned, check coils and circuit for heat traces.
then see if there's a broke part.
if none of the above, i'm out of ideas to help

The only battery within the Wii U console is the clock battery, which can be replaced. Aside from that, there are no batteries at all. The console needs the power supply to work.

In the gamepad. That wouldn't affect the console powering on.

The WiiU Power adapter can be tryed to reset... 🤔 Just plug it of from WiiU and Powerplug and wait a few minutes. Then replug.

But maybe the adapter is dead and needs to be replaced. Dont know if possible to meassure power outlet if no connection to WiiU exits. If, then you would be needed very thin contacts. Or you open the WiiU and measure inside. There is also a fuse (red square on the pic).

Or the powerbutton doesnt work because the contact is dirty. Or his connected ribbon (two plugs) is loose (second pic).

Worst case would be a chip is burned.

I assume you tried a different outlet?
whats that? my pc, ps3, psvita charger, the nas, 3d printer and the switch and wii are all on 2 of those so, that couldnt be broken, nor could it be too much, it worked fine before
