Issue with cIOS

So I've been recently trying to mod the vWii of my already modded WiiU so i can play the OG wii sports and wii sports resort, but i can´t get the cIOS to install properly, it always marks my download as failed and idfk what to do, i also tried to manually install my cIOS using ModMii but i also don't know where to place the cIOS so that's also a dead end,
also tried offline installing, no luck either, also switched usb ports,
got different versions of dx2 installer and also made sure to install a vWii version of d2x, again, NO LUCK.
also to add on, usb loader gx DOES recognize my games but crashes after loading, i tried switching ios-es to see if i already had any but nothing, idk if that
helps identify the problem but if it does there's that piece of info.

don't confuse the CIOS for the old wii and the CIOS for the vwii mode of the wii U (these are two different things).

what usb media are you using?

yeah, I'm assuming that the ios used as a base can no longer be downloaded from the installer anyway, considering we can now no longer update the wii the official way. modmii will have the wrong ios for use with the vwii. installing them will brick the vwii. it's fixable, but don't do that.

what usb media are you using?

Im using a 4GB flash drive that has been formatted to fat32, i tried to follow the guide (again) and still nothing, the downloads keep getting failed, now even the vWii version doesnt show up in the downloads, and i have reinstalled d2x about ten times already, i also got a (net_getbyhostname -6) error show up like ten times.
these cIOS just don't wanna download at this point. (I also made sure to delete old WAD files)

did you put cios d2x in your APPS on your SD?

Is your wii U connected to the net when you install the CIOS d2x?

Recommend ==> FAT32 external hard drive for vwii mode with Y-cable.

Pretty sure my internet is connected, and d2x IS in the apps folder.

nope, very much connected, also tried ALL ports, so not a port issue.

get an sd card and you'll be fine
