Yes, that’s actually the purpose of the homebrewDuplicate posts, ever since the big update a few years ago this website barely works on my devices because of the ads, it takes several minutes to post a short comment with all the slowdown and hiccups.
Edit: question though, before I install this, I use the same HDD on both my Wii and Wii U using a custom made y-cable, can I use this software on it no problem!
Just to clarify I have two consoles Wii and Wii U both modded with USB Loader installed, I share the same HDD on both, but I take it it should be safe.Yes, that’s actually the purpose of the homebrew

This homebrew bypasses that issue, I tested it a lot of times and it worksHopefully soon scene can bypass the issue with two USB Drives so i can have both HDD connected at all time, and switch from WiiU to vWii.
So far until now, i have vWii Disconnected and plug it in when turn on vWii mode
ok thank you, i will give it a try. i used uStealth once and did not work that way, still recognize 2 usb connectedThis homebrew bypasses that issue, I tested it a lot of times and it works
Yes, you have to unhide your usb if you want the PC to read itok thank you, i will give it a try. i used uStealth once and did not work that way, still recognize 2 usb connected
and i read above this basically worked the same way.
will give it a try and let you know. thank you!
Tested and working
Thank you very much.
I ask, if i want to insert the vWii HDD into my PC to add more games, do I have to re-enable the reading?
I think it's also possible to forcibly mount it as well (on Linux at least) because I remember at some point taking a drive that could only be seen on one device and using either commands or gparted to force it into a read-mode. Because as far as I can tell most of the time the device is detected, just not shown. Then again this is the Linux thought process, no idea how it translates to windowsYes, you have to unhide your usb if you want the PC to read it
Maybe usb loader gx doesn’t support hidden devices, try wiiflow lite insteadWhen i hide my drive and exit it i go back in to make sure the drive is hidden but i see both slots hidden is that supposed to happen? then when i start usb loader GX screen starts flashing blue, am i doing something wrong?
A bit off topic but I would prefer https://adaway.org - Open Source, no need to find a cracked version, supports Magisks systemless hosts module (but works on unrooted phones, too) and so on.Use adguard on your phone. Find a cracked version. I get 0 ads on any site.
Or you can always set up a Pi-Hole for your network so you can have reliable logging / blocking for every device, rather than just setting it up on oneA bit off topic but I would prefer https://adaway.org - Open Source, no need to find a cracked version, supports Magisks systemless hosts module (but works on unrooted phones, too) and so on.
I think it’s already added, could you try it?I can confirm that this works under CBHC Now my last request is if you could please add Wii U Pro Controller support!? Thanks a lot dude.
doesn't it say to have only one usb device plugged in at a time? One thing I would say though, I noticed that if you only have one hard drive plugged in, it still gives an option to hide USB1 and USB2. I'm pretty sure the port in the back is 1, but it could be 2? Either you might consider relabeling them, or maybe change the code to scan for connected USB hard drives. Or, maybe I can figure it out on my own It works the way I need it to, no complaints.
