Whenever i tap/press the hotkey for backing up or restoring. it does not back up or save, it seems to do nothing when i do L/R and when i tap it, it just lights up then stops. anyone know why?

I'm not sure if this is needed, but you may need a save for each game you plan to restore, since I think it's indexed somehow.

Are you supposed to push l and R at the same time? I know iconmask on the ps4 has a menu that says to press l/r to change the image type, so pressing both causes nothing to happen.

You don't need to press L or R buttons when creating a save in Checkpoint , you just click on the title and create save, click again on the newly created save and it'll restore it.

I assumed he meant a batch version of saving and restoring. I think checkpoint has such a feature, but I don't know how to use it.

It's not too complicated to do that, you might need to press some button or it's under the settings somewhere, i forget.
Though i don't have much use for it personally, i prefer creating saves for individual games, but i guess it could be really useful if one had to do them all just with one click for some reason..
