Buy this emmc reader for switch. Klick me
Solder your original emmc to the daughter bord and dump all your partitions from the chip. Also boot0/1 partitions.
Do this under Ubuntu.
Then solder your new emmc to the daughter bord and copy all the partitions back.
Then solder the emmc to your OLED.
You can also use a old erista switch for it.
if you want to do this more often you should buy an emmc reader. Klick
But you need a special notebook SD card reader or the reader from the ali link above.
On xianyu/Idlefish you can find a usb version from a emmc reader for a good price. Klick
Or here Klick
btw.
Hekate restores the emmc backup whiteout problems to a bigger emmc.
so summarized again. every modchip whether sx core/light or hwfly core/light/OLED needs a described boot0 partition.
or your modchip has flashed the linked spacecraft version.

Any updates on your NAND upgrade?
I'm also from Brazil, aiming on upgrading from V1 Erista to OLED and maybe upgrading the NAND .
Which part/state of Brazil do you live? I'm from RS.
Hello, could someone help me please, I have a big question that won't let me sleep xd, I want to buy a hwfly oled v4 chip, I have asked in a couple of stores the pre-installed firmware, in the first store they told me that it has the spacecraft 0.7.0 installed and the second store spacecraft 0.3.0, the second store told me that 0.7.0 is not the best and that they only accept official firmware pre-installed from the factory, which one should I buy? the second store is supposed to be hwfly official store on aliexpress
Still no success.
The guy at the store didn't know how to solder correctly, and after 3 attempts, he gave up and gave me back the two emmcs (the 256GB and the original 64GB) and the empty motherboard
I ended up having to buy a heat gun, stencil, solde paste, flux and try the soldering myself.
After many soldering attempts, I ended up getting it working for a day, but the next day the emmc died. the cause of this may have been the excessive attempts I made (the heat may have deteriorated the IC).
I ended up buying a second emmc but it should still arrive next week

the vram is one advantage when it comes to AI but ends up being slower even with that and really AI is the only use case that needs more than 12gb vram right now
I think I watched a video where two games at 4K where eating just over 16GB of RAM and it's the one case where the 7900XT and XTX pulled ahead (minus RTX of course)
So my opinion is that they could age a bit better in the future, and maybe AMD will continue improving them via drivers like they tend to do. No guarantee there but they have done it in the past. Just a feeling I have.
