Hacking wii 3.1U for the first time

I'm trying to hack a wii version 3.1U for the first time, it doesn't have Homebrew Launcher, so I have to hack it without updating
I already tried str2hax, Blue Bomb but it doesn't work because it freezes on the HackMii Installer screen, "this software must not be sould"
I really don't know what to do, I would like some help

Download modmii from modmii.github.io, start it on your windows PC, from it's main menu, choose the "HackMii Solutions Wizard", this solutions wizard is designed to solve the problem you're facing

yeah i readed that, look, i need update my console first to install homebrew launcher and etc
but im on ios 36! and to update to 4.3U i need to be in ios 58, and now im trying to install that with yawmm but isnt work bcs i need to reload my ios
and with wii mod lite, i just got "apply patches... Please Wait... !!!

i'm in a very similar situation as him and the solutions wizzard does not fix it

Can you share what you've tried? Did you launch mmm or yawmm from an exploit and install WADs? Or did this fail with an error code?

I suggest making a nand backup; to do so on a virgin wii, double click casper2bootmii.bat inside ModMii's support folder, doing so will set up your sd card to launch bootmii directly from an exploit instead of the hackmii installer or mmm or yawmm or whatever else you currently have set up. With a nand backup, you could in theory share it with someone like me who could convert it to install on their Wii using punetwiin then troubleshoot to try and figure out exactly what's going on.

That being said, it could be a simple fix. Someone else on discord recently couldn't install a stock IOS58 from a wad manager which was strange; but he wasn't able to test it on MMM, just yawmm (as he only had a wiimotion+ remote). Unfortunately (or fortunately) he fixed it by doing a disk update to install IOS58 before either trying MMM or taking a nand backup before the update so I wasn't able to investigate further.

TLDR, more information is required to help you. A nand backup may be helpful to diagnose what's going on (assuming we rule out potential user-error issues)

i thinkl i was abe to update the wii via yawmm as it made the homebrew channel upside down but i still cant seem to update via the wii settings menu. just the error 32004 still.

Official nintendo update issues have nothing to do with wii mods and everything to do with nintendo servers impacting all Wii's, modded or unmodded

Have you tried using a previous version of hackmii? Because i soft modded a wii a long time ago with 3.3u firmware with bannerbomb and i had a similar issue. I dont remember what specific version of hackmii but i remember trying with 0.7b or the 0.8 or 1.0 and one of those made the 1 button appear and i was able to soft mod.

So change the boot.elf from your letterbomb and use an old version see if that works. https://bootmii.org/download/
It has the 1.0, there are some other sites that has previous versions.

Just copy the boot.elf from the hackmii_installer_v1.0.zip and replace the one with letterbomb and retry letterbomb on your wii.

Do you have twilight princess? You can soft mod your wii with that game reading that your wii is in 3.1U.

He's clearly able to launch homebrew as he said he used yawmm. He probably used bannerbomb, no need for twilight hack.

His issue is official online updates. Offline update using modmii should still work just fine, so let's wait and see what he says.

can i just upgrade to a higher os via yawmn? I also did use bannerbomb to get hb channel but i cant remember what version i used.

If u have the hbc already u don't need to use modmii's hackmii solutions wizard, use its main wizard or syscheck updater wizard. U can update via the hbc (this is what modmii will direct u to do), no need to repeat an exploit if u have the hbc already

At this point I'm not sure what you're issue is TBH, I think u either need to follow your custom modmii guide, or describe a SPECIFIC issue u are having when trying to follow the guide
