Rename your /atmosphere/contents folder to /atmosphere/contents.bak and see if you can boot up. If it does it means you have a sys-module that doesn’t work with 14.1.0. To find out which one you can recreate the /atmosphere/contents directory and move the date from /atmosphere/contents.bak over to it in small batches while rebooting in between. Remember what yiu copy over in each batch because When it doesn’t boot you will then know it was one of the small group you just brought over. Make sense?

popular modules that cause conflict will be:
themes
missioncontrol
fizeau

full list of modules and their title ids can be found
I dont have a contents folder in atmosphere, and i have never messed any of those modules

Put the emunand version of the exosphere.ini in the root of the sd card. This version will blank out your Prodinfo and make it all zeros.
It will do it only for emunand because we don’t want emunand to identify itself to Nintendo.
We do NOT want to do the same for Sysnand because we want to use Sysnand online and we DO want to connect to Nintendo with Sysnand.
If we blank out the Prodinfo they will block us.
make sense?
done on sd card

Hi every one,

Just joined and was trying to figure out if switch modding is worth it or not? since still got a v1 switch from back when it released before the v2 came out. what i would like to do is still play online with the games i have on cart and just want to run RetroArch, and backup with cheats for offline ex: Acnhm, pokemon series so can make things a bit easier but do want to use the save for online use as well.

but not sure if there any other apps or such that may help out? i did soft mod my 3ds even thought was a total noob when doing it but with this console i am very nervous and scared on what to do? i read you need a jig witch have and will be using the cable that came with pro controller to hookup to pc any help would be great and thank you for reading and taking your time to whom is reading.

Totally worth it. Can definitely play online with clean Sysnand as long as all dirty stuff is kept offline on emunand. you can migrate saves between nands.

There are many guides on the Internet. Stay away from youtube guides. I use this one: https://rentry.co/SwitchHackingIsEasy

I have a whole slew of updated links in my sig.

Also this work in progress: https://gbatemp.net/blogs/homebrew-i-use.18815/

I'm assuming you are booting the first stanza. Let's do a hail mary and see if we can use fusee.bin directly to boot.

Please move the fusee.bin you recently downloaded to /bootloader/payloads/fusee.bin and then add this to the bottom of hekate_ipl.ini file

Code:
[Fusee CFW]
payload=bootloader/payloads/fusee.bin
icon=bootloader/res/icon_payload.bmp

Reboot and chose what should be the 3rd icon called Fusee CFW and see if it boots up.

To save some time what versions were you running before and are you running now of the following:

HOS FW:
Hekate:
Atmosphere:

I only have two which is cfw emmunand and the stick synsnand. I was running 13.2.1 but i updated the firmware to 14.0.0 and it was fine but then i updated to 14.1.0 and now its just black

Hi guys, I'm really new with homebrew.
I wasn't using my console for a long time, and now i want to update it to use.

The problem is that i remember that when i paid to flash it, the person who did it recommended me to have emummc and emunand (if i remember well) so if i want to play with original games I can do that.

The problem is that now when i'm trying to watch what to do, every guide that i find is different to mine.

I was watching some guides, i remember that i always updated my console following this man. (I think that he had the sames folders than me when i had updated in the past)

Thank you in advance guys.

appreciated.

When you added the new stanza I showed above you still only see two options to boot?

That does not make any sense. Please double check that what you added is still there.

‘What about Hekate? Did you upgrade Hekate as well? If so, from which version to which version?

First I recommend backing up your /atmosphere folder to /atmosphere.bak and the backing up your /bootloader directory to /bootloader.bak so we can get you back to where you are should anything go sideways.

Once everything is backed up check out:

Leave everything else in there. Don’t overwrite anything. Just add those lines to the end of the file. It is just temporary. We will delete the lines afterwards. Just trying to get you to be able to boot anything.

Double check you moved latest fusee.bin to /bootloader/payloads/ directory.

Then reboot and pick third option.

Hekate version is great.

I added the line of code and i clicked the fuse option, it showed the atmosphere logo this time for a quick second then it went black and hasnt done anything

Do not touch you emummc folder. It should be just fine. if you get to a part where they say to partition anything…stop. You don’t need to create a new emummc.

It’s choking on something. Let’s start from square one.

Move your /atmosphere and /bootloader to /atmosphere.bak and /bootloader.bak respectively.
