It says that you can access Atmosphere by holding the "R" button while selecting the Album, but nothing happens when I do it.

Atmosphere is the CFW. When you send a payload like fusee or Hekate, their job is to boot you into Atmosphere so as long as you did that, you are technically "accessing" Atmosphere. It sounds like you are trying to access the homebrew menu. What happens when you select the Album without holding the "R" button?

Nothing happens. It just takes me to the pictures stored into the Album.

Are you in CFW? When you check your current firmware under System Settings, what does it say?

If you are talking about the firmware in a regular boot, it's 13.2.1. I don't know how to check the firmware when I boot from the emuMMC as it replaces the firmware version with the "Update Ready to Install" text.

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask but here it goes.
I just got my HWFLY chip (ribbon v3) for my OLED and I soldered the wires to flash the bootloader.bin and firmware.bin files onto it and I observe 2 things I wanted to know if they are normal.

First things first.
I'm using a J-Link clone (no ST-Link at home) and I'm using Linux.

1 - When I plug the USB cable (after have connected the 4 wires, 3.3V, GND, TCK and SDO), I see a very short blue led that immediately turns red (red is good). Is this normal, to see a very short blue led and only then, the red led?

2 - After a few seconds of red led turns on, the led turns off. Is this normal? Like 10 or 15 seconds later??

hey so im on verison 12.0.3 and im trying to download animal crossing and it keeps telling me "software was closed because an error occurred" i dont know why im getting this message i turned of my switch and redownlaoded it and it still didnt work.

I have been talking to @de9ed . I can connect OpenOCD to the device and I can talk to it with telnet, however, I'm not sure if I can simply flash the 2 binary files directly with telnet, because I see that in the video, they remove some protection that comes pre-selected in the software used in the video and I'm not sure if I have to do anything about that using OpenOCD and telnet!

heres my noob question:

screenshot (screen capture button) has no sound when using (how to put sound?)
and no popping screen shot has taken (is there a settings for it?)


another question. my switch always popping "update software" and "update game"
both of them i dont want to update. myreasons, for ofw it might destrou my cfw and in game, im using cheat.
is there a way to stop them from downloading in my console/popping? (i dont want the flight mode)
because i have a friend and he on v1 and he doesnt have this problem, so im asking maybe its possible in v2?

hello my switch is already hacked but i haven't turned on my switch in about 2 years or so and i lost my SD card that inserted in the switch and not sure where it is but since i can't find it was able to find a clean SD card and use this GUIDE

i was able to follow emuNAND CFW and partition SD card and such.. but when i lunch it its stuck in Stuck In Hekate load screen.
i know the the firmware is at the lower firmware since its probably not matching with latest CFW or not matching the hacks i had previously that is why is not loading.. is recommended to restore from original NAND and rehack it.. or find the CFW i was in? i was able to trace my files and i was using hekate_ctcaer_4.6.bin to boot into RCM and i think i followed KOSMOS setup to hack it.. my switch is not bricked i just needed to get the CFW files correctly but im not sure how to to about that since i cant remember anymore.. any help appreciated?

i was able to boot via fusee loader i guess i need to install latest hackable firmware now.

Use latest everything. As of this writing they all seem to be working very well together. Latest Hekate will inject just fine and is a highly recommended way to boot.

Not sure. Didn’t know screen ca-tire sound was even configurable at all. Anyone else know?

V1 or V2 does not matter. For whatever reason your switch is able to talk to Nintendo to check for updates.

1) enable exosphere.ini to blank out your Prodinfo.
2) enable dns:mitm to block DNS queries to Nintendo servers.
3) Use this 90DNS Tester to be sure that you can no longer connect to Nintendo.
4) download Goldleaf, it has a feature to reset



Settings: check both system and Goldleaf settings:

  • Check for pending updates, and remove them if present

I don’t see anything in the release notes about requiring specific firmware. 99.99% certain you’ll not have any issues whatsoever. In the .01% case Tinfoil is not something that will prevent you from booting so you’ll be able to easily downgrade back to where you are. I’m already on 14.1.0 and 14 so I can’t quickly test your specific use case.
