sorry for poor explaination. I saw some screen shot of someone switch at launch screen where there is 4th icon instead of 3. sd emmuc, sysnand cfw, stock, emmuc fusee

oh sure. We were doing that very thing earlier in this thread. It’s just another set of lines in /bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini creating the 4th button.

What is the latest Switch firmware, where I can install Pokemon Sword and Shield 1.2.0 version? I have the most recent one, but It doesn't let me install anything, but the newest update.

PSWSH minimum FW requirement is 8.1.0

If you have the most recent firmware (14.0.0) it will allow you to play any game available today.

Yes. That’s exactly how I do biweekly backups of my sd card. I swap them out to even out the wear and keep them up to date. This way, even if I lose everything, I have a copy from < 14 days ago.

Use a bit for bit clone copier. It will copy hidden partitions, FAT32 and everything else as is. I use minitool partition wizard but any of the partitioning tools should work just fine.

I can't open the HB Menu anymore, not via pressing the r button while launching a game or the album. I'm on 13.2.1 and AMS 1.2.6. and installed the newest sigpatches for 14.0.0 but idk if they work on lower firmware too.

If you have an icon on the homescreen that says homebrew launcher on it then that is a forwarder

Your posts are contradicting with each other, when you says when you can't launch homebrew menu when not pressing R button when launching a game or going to the album.

You can try older patches for Firmware 13.2.1 and Atmosphere 1.2.6

In addition you can try to redo CFW files by putting fresh one

Hi I recently bought a pre-owned jailbroken switch. So I have very limited to basic knowledge regarding jailbreak scene.
My system version: 12.1.0|AMS M 1.9.5|S
I also got a rcmloader
I am facing the following issues:

• new installs can't be played in airplane mode. And turning airplane off results in it trying to “Checking if the software can be played…”
• "unable to start software" on a new title and tinfoil.

From my google search I am guessing my switch needs to be updated. And is missing sigpatches. (Please correct me if my assumptions are wrong)

I intend to update my ofw and cfw but I have a couple of questions before I should proceed with the process

• Is ofw 13.2.1 and atmosphere 1.2.6 and HOS patches 13.2.1 combination good to proceed?
• What should be the order of update. ofw and then cfw(atmosphere + hekate) or cfw first and then ofw?
• Should I download latest hekate files and latest atmosphere files and HOS patches 13.2.1. copy them to root. Can these all be copied at once to sd card and perform injection? And for the rcmloader, rename hekate.bin to payload.bin and perform the payload injection?
• Do I need fusee.bin?
• Will doing so result in switch always booting to hekate bootloader? Currently performing injection boots directly into cfw.

Any help will be highly appreciated. Maybe I have missed some key points in the tutorials I have been following. Thanks!

yes, there are plenty of folks running it at this point (myself included) you can safely run it as your main.

CFW first and leave OFW alone unless you want to go online with it at a later date. I always take a backup before and after I touch OFW.

You should but you don’t have to. If you inject to get into CFW today you will continue doing so. If you don’t turn on AutoRCM or insert your jig your Switch will boot into OFW by default. OFW can continue to go Online and update via Nintendo servers like normal. CFW should never go online and if you do make sure you reduce risk by configuring dns:mitm (default,txt) and Exosphere (exosphere.ini.)
