Help with Trinket solder point please

Hey guys i just have a quick question about 1 solder point in particular because i noticed that other pictures for the joycon strap for other chips show to only solder to one of the pads whereas the one for the original trinket the picture has both pads circled, do i have to bridge these and solder the joycon strap to it?

I've had joy con issues when bridging them, so I solder to the right most pad.

ok cool thank you so much, yah i installed it last night, however since i wasnt sure i used the alternate joycon strap pad on the back thats pictured in the tutorial, but no matter what i do, i cant get it to go into RCM mode, and my volume up doesnt work when im booted into stock OS, however it does work for the trinket, any idea on that? or should i just check my connections?

I only use the dual boot straps, so I don't solder to the vol+ point. I would check that connection first.

ok and lastly, im so confused about the file placement on the SD card, so at first it was putting payload.bin in the root of the SD, but now i see the tinymemloader, and i am using it, do i place the payload.bin in there?

You don't need tinymemloader. Use hekate's usb module. That's what i'm using and it is good enough.

awesome thank you guys for you help, i got it all working properly now, i have to change the joycon strap point from the alt point to the one on the left in the picture, and all is working perfect now

I figured out what the no volume+ problem was, the front of the resistor pad on the front of the board for the volume+strap got pulled off, I had to solder in a replacement trace from the middle of the old trace to the top of the resistor
