I was watching a documentary on Confucius and learned his Chinese name is "Kong Fuzi" or 孔夫子

With Chinese naming convention last names are listed first, and thus rendered in western style his name would be Fuzi Kong

I learned that there are people alive today who trace their ancestry all the way back to Confucius - and there are large geneologies listing descendents back some 2500 years. The one thing they have in common is they all share the surname Kong

I tried to search this on Google but in vain, somehow it seems no one has ever considered whether or not Donkey Kong is related to his less famous ancestor Fuzi Kong! (In English anyway)

Any leads would be appreciated, my research has hit a dead end

Soy has higher protein than bananas, I am sure he would have been 2x as strong

Lucky for us he wasn't then. Who knows what havoc he might have wreaked had he been filled up with Super Soy power since his early days. Either that or he might never have reached those heights and lived a life full of frustration and not became the legend we know and love.

On topic, I always thought it was due to a typo as Monkey Kong makes much more sense. Obviously they couldn't call him King Kong for trademark reasons but the Monkey thing might not be true according to the net but then:

I guess I should be flattered that your obsession with me just keeps spilling into more threads, but my interest is wearing a little thin by this point honestly.

dave, what an ugly thing to say... I abhor ugliness... does this mean we're not friends anymore? You know, dave, if I thought you weren't my friend, I just don't think I could bear it.
