Are you sure it's not your setup?

No it's not, there's multiple reports from people that it's crashing ...
I have also installed hundreds of other NSP and XCI's :)

I think tinfoil might be ok, but I haven't personally tried yet.

For completeness (if you so chose.)

https://tinfoil.io/Download#download

grab the .nro file put it in /switch start hbmenu in title override mode (hold R wile selecting a game and keep holding it into hbmenu starts) and then hit the icon To run the installer. It takes care of the rest…

edit: docs for the various install methods https://blawar.github.io/tinfoil/

Last edited by binkinator,
I think authors of mentioned installers should debug them. Nsp install is very easy. Btw, at what moment the crash happens? At the start when cnmt.nca parsing happens, during main nca copy or at the end when apprecord is created?

Right at the beginning before any copying it seems takes place.

The Switch install the game as separated NCA files, none of them are bigger than 4GB, so you don't have issues. the only problem is if you want to install from SD, you need split NSP files.
Exactly that's why DBI is the best

I just looked at sources - all mentioned awoo clones uses the same install code. Goldleaf uses different approach and DBI uses totally different way to cnmt parse. Has no idea about tinfoil - it's closed source.

Not to take this completely off-topic but the new Minecraft update (v3538944) removes Mario mash-up for me, hmm :)

Should've let it crash the update and stay on the old one haha.

You can remove updates by uninstalling with dbi and use the reset required version/firmware (cant remember exact wording) once you unistall it and use that feature. Just install the update you want

I just have to figure out which one I've previously had :)

Still strange the new one is like that, as officially it's supposed to still contain the mash-up, hmm.

DBI is really nice I agree after using it for a bit ...

I just wish the font size could be made a little bigger :)

Let's hope nothing happens to the developer, he seems to be from Ukraine.

Let's hope this war ends soon.
