Tiramisu or make do?

So ive decided if i can pair my ps4 controller then upgrading to tiramisu makes sense

However is it just a case of me using the exact same sd card and then im hoping all of my existing apps on there will work once again when im running tiramisu.

Ok im now on tiramisu

Took less than 30 mins
Got my ps4 controller working win win


Heart in the mouth moment when homebrew would not launch lol
It is in a changed location via mii maker now


Is there a place to turn off updates?

Im on CBHC myself but I believe updates are blocked by Tiramesu. Best to wait for somebody who has it to chime in though

I got my ps4 controller working but now I wonder if it means I will need to re-pair with the ps4 lol

I might have an older ps3 controller or two spare I think even maybe xbox controller might just work so got a few options im hoping

Im not 100% sure if I want to make the switch or not. Ik its much safer to use than CBHC but at the same time im super careful with my WiiU and both me and my gf know not to touch that ds title at all. Were the only ones that use the WiiU so yeah. If I had kids id defintely make the switch in a heartbeat to prevent a brick though. I also like how CBHC natively supports both elf and rpx homebrew. Tiramisu can work with elf homebrew but theres an extra step or two I believe.

Bloopair seems like a really cool feature though . I'll have to give the switch some serious though

Whats the deal with homebrew launcher?
I see that on my wii menu but obviously that dont work and i have to click on mii maker to get to homebrew

Is there a way to get homebrew launcher working via the menu rather than mii maker?

Tiramisu boots a little faster than CBHC (about 10s faster).

Being ready from the get-go for Aroma is the main one.
But I think that 'til Aroma arrives, there's is not a reason to rush. Both CBHC and Tiramisu can play and install games, and both work online and everything. The homebrew side of the things is a little bit different, but not everyone is interested in that, so that's not a main selling point for everybody.

Updates are blocked by Tiramisu.

Tiramisu can work with elf homebrew but theres an extra step or two I believe.

No steps needed: Tiramisu supports .elf just fine. Aroma won't have .elf support through.

Yes "almost" ALL work with tiramisu I think.....Despite I do have some errors conrcening when selectiong ios with those programs: any region changer (ko), ALL THE PROGRAMS CONCERING WADS like AnyTitleDeleterDB,Yet-Another-BlueDump-Mod, wiimod lite, DOP-MiiV16, DmpMiNND they do work but tends to be "buggy" when not selecting the good ios earch time to use.

well they work, its just I need to select ios58 each time, I wanted everyone that wants to migrate to Tiramisu to know there are some bugs as some apps don't work with it like "before" with Haxhi

Afaik Tiramisu doesn't touch the vWii side of things. I could be wrong though, I'm still on CBHC with no plans to switch currently

I've tested with 4 wiiu, one is still on haxchi. 2 in EUR (one haxchi/ one Tiramisu), One is US, One is JAP.
