Thanks. didnt think of that one. I tried it, but nothing seems to happen.Inside tinfoil? I'm pretty sure you can select a payload from there and it'll boot into hekate

I'm not sure you can. Reboot to payload relies on RCM, and doesn't even work on 4.1 iPatched units hacked with Caffeine, so I assume it would not work on a chipped console either (but I don't own one myself so I can't be sure)On my oled switch is there a way of getting into hekate from inside atmosphere without turning your switch off?
I got "no SD error" (if I retry after failing to boot once my modchip works...) with normal reboot and i dont like keep pressing power button to power off anyways... much cleaner to just run reboot to payload. Shame to hear there is no such function possible at all then on mariko... not in future aswell i take it...I'm not sure you can. Does a normal reboot not boot you into Hekate/CFW the same as power cycling?
There's a long way.. If you get into the homebrew Menu, launch NXThemeInstaller, and use the reboot option from there. On my oled switch is there a way of getting into hekate from inside atmosphere without turning your switch off?

Hekate is not an application that runs inside the Switch operating system.does that work on mariiko and OLED though?
there is- setting up hekate to "reboot to payload.bin" got it to boot up hekate in a flashHekate is not an application that runs inside the Switch operating system.
You can not start it like some homebrew app.
The only way to start Hekate is by booting up the Switch.
So even rebooting into Hekate in some way, is basically the same as turning off your Switch completely and turning it back on again.
Is there a reason why you do not want to power off the Switch?
With a modchip, it should boot up again automatically.
Depending on your Hekate settings, you either end up in Hekate or it boots into Atmosphere without showing the Hekate menu.
