Hi all,
um i was wondering & wnated to ask the question:

if it is wroth Upgrading your Switch Model currently to a new one?

eg. since 2017, i had the OG switch v1 model,

but becuase it's battery life "sucked balls" ,
when the switch lite came out in 2019,
i sold my oG model in 2020 jan to a friend for 150 euros and got the
Switch Lite model, that im running until today.

it's good and all, i like it very much,

but i was wondering if you have a switch lite model,
is it wroth selling it & upgrading it for the OLED model instead?
how much "better" is the OLED model over the Lite to make it wroth upgrading to or not?

thanx

Since there is no internal hardware upgrade, I would keep the Lite and wait for a possible PRO version to upgrade :)
Edit: Misunderstood the fact the you don't have the V1 anymore.

def worth it. I had erista switch and im so happy right now. extra overclocking, better battery life, larger screen. and the screen itself WAY better then i expected.

100% worth it. The OLED screen looks gorgeous, not to mention you have docked mode, which i personally love.

The thing i love the most about the switch is being able to turn from home console to handled with ease.
Sadly lite doesn't have that for obvious reasons, but yeah.

Go for the OLED!

Do you use auto brightness on or off?

Either way, a modded OLED is 1000% worth it. I haven't touched either of my eristas since I got this thing in my hands

I use it on my Erista to conserve battery, same would apply to my OLED if I ever use it/get it modded (currently it just sits in its box).
Conserving battery over better screen quality could be a thing ofc if you are on the go. But if you are often or constantly at the charger with it or close to one... why not take the better brightness?
