I don't think I understand.

Is eMMC the same as emuNAND?

I'm going to run CFW/homebrew on emuNAND but I'm never going to connect to Nintendo servers on there. I'm only planning to connect to Nintendo servers on sysNAND.
I should really update the wording in that thread. Basically, the Switch uses an eMMC chip to store its software. However everyone uses the word "NAND" because that is what the 3DS stores its software on and the Switch scene is mostly made up of the 3DS scene. emuNAND is also a word borrowed from the 3DS scene since it refers to emulating the 3DS' NAND but since the Switch uses an eMMC, the correct term would be emuMMC. Lastly, the term sysNAND on the 3DS translates to sysMMC on the Switch.

Hey all!

Recently hacked my OG switch with Atmosphere 1.2.5 on 13.2.0 and everything went smooth as butter. Got a few games off Tinfoil, played 9 hours of SMT, and then wanted to use EdiZon so I followed this guide:

[cannot post link, but Google "cfwaifu" + "Edizon"]

This is where things got wonky. I cannot, for the life of me, get the Tesla menu to open. The overlay folder is there. The EdiZon app is in my switch folder. I have the correct "contents" folder. I can post screens if that would help anyone figure out my issue, but at this point I'm at a loss where to look!

Is it possible Tesla won't open if I don't have any cheats visible to EdiZon? I downloaded cheats off a group here and I'm only kinda sure they went in the right spot. It's the only thing I'm not confident in.

Also for reference I'm transferring my files using hekete's USB tool.

ohh okay, i see. yeah I keep seeing emuMMC and sysMMC on a lot of threads referred to as similar but diff wordings so I've just been trying my best with assumptions.

So if I do online legit play on sysMMC and offline hacking on emuMMC, im gucci right? Totally safe?

Post a screenshot of the structure of your /atmosphere/contents folder.

Yes assuming you never run CFW/homebrew on sysMMC and stay offline on emuMMC.

The overlay menu would appear even if you had absolutely no cheats loaded in. I'm puzzled why it's not working though; your structure looks identical to mine which does let the menu open regardless of game...
EDIT: well I just noticed that there's actually no folder in contents for the game you're trying to load cheats for so that's definitely not the issue...

Hmmm. I thought my folder structure was correct too.

Here’s a wrinkle, though. After disconnecting from my PC to get those folder screens, and loading into Atmosphere, I got the following boot error:

I didn’t get any error in my 24 hours or so of setting up my CFW or playing SMT so I assume this is related?

Fixed! In the hekate menu select "fix arch bit" or something to that effect under tools. This may have been caused by a Mac laptop, but I thought I installed every file using Windows so - if you've used Mac at all during the life of your microSD, try it!

Planning Android on Switch via a separate high speed microSD

Q1. buying options
option 1) Adata Premier One microSDXC 64GB U3 V9
option 2) Kingston Canvas React Plus microSDXC 64GB U3 V90 A1

the one from Kingston is 20% more expensive in my area, I not sure if it is worth it. (?)
Would you consider those products as an "overkill" ?

Q2. I understand that I have to use Hekate for flashing. It will format the partion Hekate is located.(?)
what is the minimum size I have to leave for HOS partition? can assign "0 MB" for it?

Q3. my Switch is "glued" to the dock...
Is it possible to navigate through android with Pro Controller buttons (or gyro)?
Or is it a "must" to use the touchscreen?

Q4. Any performance list for emulators? mostly interested in popular games.

Thanks!

Does anyone know where the actual switch digital keyboard is located? Not the font, but the actual file that stores the nintendo switch keyboard's symbols/keys. Or where the nintendo switch's symbols are located as a font? Either one would help.

Hey guys!
I want clear a doubt about the atmosphere.

I migrated my Emunand from SXOS to Atmosphere, now there is a folder on my SD Card called "warmboot_mariko".

What is the function of this mass? Can I delete it?

Thanks!

Anyone know how to remove the save data cloud notification before starting every game transferred and hacked my launch switch has 90dns etc so you can’t change the setting unless you let it speak to Nintendo’s servers (which I don’t want to do as it’s unbanned) alongside my other oled) is there a way to turn it off in some other way so I don’t get those notifications?

Hi everyone, long time lurker without accout here.

I would like to know if is there any plex/jellifyn client (in homebrew app form) in development for the switch.
I have checked on google and the Jellyfin team discussed the possibility in an issue (i think i'm not allowed yet to post links) but it seems that they try to use the web applet and its very limited.

Maybe there is another web browser that allows to connect to a jellyfin server but I'm not sure.
Anyway, I also found a repo called JellyfinNX by Nichole Mattera but I haven't tested it yet.

Has anyone tested it before or can bring some light to this?
Thanks in advance.

Try .... L+R+Y for Edizon

Hope this is the right place to ask my question.

It's about the original SX Core. I know it was some Team Xecuter that was working with it and was providing them to the public. But was this team actually designing the chip and actually producing it and distributing it? Or what brand was the "owner" of this chip? Like ST? Microchip, Texas Instruments? Who was?

And another question I have is are there any pin out or datasheets for this chip? I would like to take a look!

If your console isn't a Mariko unit, you can just delete it immediately. If it is, you will need it. There is a fuse check performed when the console wakes up from sleep mode or warmboot (a boot up that is done while the console is on or "warm"). On Erista consoles, this is a non-issue because there is an exploit that bypasses this check. But that exploit was patched on Mariko units so the workaround is to use a dumped copy of the warmboot in order to trick the Mariko units into thinking the fuse count is correct.

Its a setting you disable in Data Management under System Settings.

Seems like Nichole's repository of JellyfinNX is the only development done with this client.

TX were responsible for all parts of the SX Core from production to advertisement except for selling. They distributed the modchips to resellers whom people had to purchase from. So TX were the owners of this chip. And someone posted a PCB of the chip.

Thank you very much for the detailed explanation!

I managed to understand perfectly the usefulness of the folder, I only had 2 doubts.

1. Is this different fuse count due to a mistake I made when migrating my emunand or does this happen to everyone who has Mariko units?

2. Is this folder necessary even on SXOS?

This folder appeared after I did the migration and I had to use the "Mariko_Warmboot" tool (something like that).

Once again, thank you very much for your attention and explanation.
