Haha true true, but still. Then again, I got a Dragon ;DToday where practically all smartphones (except iPhones lol) have USB-C I don't see this as a problem anymore.

even if they don't support USB-C you only need an OTG cableToday where practically all smartphones (except iPhones lol) have USB-C I don't see this as a problem anymore.
RCMLoader is CRAP. It's a huge, unhandy brick. Size compared to SX dongle (red is RCMLoader, green is SX dongle):No, their dongle is actually kind of crap compared to example RCMloader One.
lol like you carry it around?RCMLoader is CRAP. It's a huge, unhandy brick. Size compared to SX dongle (red is RCMLoader, green is SX dongle):

Not as perfect as this little guy doesmy rcm tool fits inside the gamecart slot
TX were already rocking the hb and piracy scene before your mom and dad were even planning offspring. They did more for the scene than 99% of the mentionable active scene actors. You must be a spoiled chap to ignore this.I really hope we finally see the end of Team Xecuter. Team Xecuter never really did anything to help the community, outside of selling closed-source software to people who wanted to pirate games. These teams don't help when it comes to benefiting the actual homebrew development and furthering the community.
TX of the Switch scene is not the same team from the past. That team was bought out and replaced with members from the Gateway team. I am also pretty sure I am actually older than the OG TX teamNot as perfect as this little guy does
Why even manufacture such a brick? SX released their dongle years ago, and it's still unbeaten in this regard.

Hardly. You have to jump through hoops if you want to dual boot SX and other CFW because Atmo can't be launched from the SX menu directly and if you use the SX Gear payload to launch other payloads you can't launch SX OS anymore because it replaces the boot.dat which SX OS needs. RCMLoader One can launch multiple payloads and the battery lasts a long time so it hardly ever needs to be charged.. And the built in slot for a jig is genius. It's also extremely compact, and cheap as dirt.Their dongle is still the best piece of hardware for the Switch. I still use it with the boot.dat to chain-load other payloads. I'd still prefer SX OS to any other CFW if it would still be maintained
Don't mistake them for TX, they are TX in name only. I agree TX was a great team, although their products were overpriced. These guys just used TX' name to sell their product. It's already proven from the lawsuit that the people behind SX are the same people behind Gateway. Those people can fuck right off. They knew their reputation was bad and they wouldn't be able to sell their product if they used the Gateway name. Not as perfect as this little guy does

Team-Xecuter did the following which benefitted the community:I really hope we finally see the end of Team Xecuter. The benefits to these ultimately get shafted by the fact that their software was closed-source and they didn't release the documentation for the new exploits. The help they provided seemed more to appear helpful for the community but just short of actually didn't help when we can't recreate their products. Ultimately, without source codes nor proper documentation, their help can be argued as just keeping a good enough public image and nothing more.Team-Xecuter did the following which benefitted the community:
- Gave free hardware to developers
- Developed new exploits for "unhackable" systems
- Contributed to the Switchbrew wiki in the early days of the Switch scene (arguably just to fuck with the open source devs
but they contributed information nonetheless)- Made switch hacking more accessible
If you're willing to accept that closed source software isn't necessarily always a bad thing they also did the following:
We better hope that Nintendo doesn't make a hardware revision immune to voltage glitching because if we do there are no other teams with the financial resources needed to do deep R&D.
- Implemented emunand before the open source devs
- Made a save manager with cloud save support saving users £20 a year for Nintendo Online
- Funded Balwar who has made Incognito, Tinfoil, etc
- Added cheat support before the open source devs
- And much more
What is inherently wrong about closed sourced software? They were able to achieve things that no other group could because they had funding. Do you think if they made payment for their work voluntary that they would have anywhere near that level of funding? Of course not, if donations were enough to hack Mariko any other group would have done it before TX. As for documentation what do you want documented? Glitching the og model switch was already publicly documented yet no other group was able to adapt the setup to Mariko. The benefits to these ultimately get shafted by the fact that their software was closed-source and they didn't release the documentation for the new exploits.
