[Question] gameuser.ini GTA Trilogy

hellblade doesn't load files the same way GTA does. GTA is constantly streaming files (meaning constantly decompressing on the fly) while you drive which in the past caused most of the stuttering for these specific games and was fixed by decompressing them.
You can repack pak with no compression at all and check if it will make any difference. Would be nice to check if nonUFS game would improve performance at all, but I guess this is too much to ask for (nonUFS is not even an option for devs because many licenses for UE4 plugins blocks using them outside of PAK assets)

honestly I don't know anything about working with unreal .pak files or I would have tried it on many different games by now lol.
 
it definitely looks better and has less stutters but still has slight loading stutters which as I said in the past were caused by compression so curious to hear masagrator's results. you also need to overclock when booting or the game will just fail to load

Important! Make sure you have overclocked your GPU to 384Mhz or 460Mhz in sys-clk-manager before launching the game or else it will fail to load.

honestly I don't know anything about working with unreal .pak files or I would have tried it on many different games by now lol.
I understand you have to look for an encryption key using IDA in the game's exeFS Main, but I didn't know how to repackage them. Does it really work with any other type of compression? LOL

honestly can't say as I've never recompressed (or in this case decompressed) any switch games but on past systems I've done it with most games still worked fine while others wouldn't work if the files are changed even slightly. hell back in the day I did it to make Marvel ultimate alliance 2 playable on psp (which was overly compressed which made it run horrible and was double the size decompressed) as well as liberty city stories and vice city stories for some examples lol
 
I think it is a very large file. If someone could create an ips patch with it (if possible) it would be great
