I bought this modded, so i saved all the original files on a seperate SD. I have my own SD, and tried to update hekate and atmosphere, must have done it the wrong way, it booted, then when i went to the menu for goldleaf etc, it gave an error message and hasnt turned on at all since. I tried reloading the old files on another SD to no avail, the only sign of life it has is a small faint red light when i press the volume down button thru the back speaker crack. Very strange, any suggestions would be truly appreciated, i should have read more before trying to update, wanting to play pokemon made me do things stupidly i guess.

$4.25 is my bid.

@OP - Did you try to hold the power button for 15 seconds or more, then try to enter RCM again?

I'm not familiar with your quad boot system. Since you already have a backup of your original SD card, use the other card to just see how far you get with booting up. On a fresh SD card install just Hekate to see if you can even get into Hekate.
Holding the power button for 15 seconds forces the console to turn off, if it were in a weird state. After that, you'll need to have the jig on the right side; hold the vol+ button and turn the power on, then let go. That'll get the console to go into RCM. You'll need to inject Hekate at that point over USB. If you have Hekate at that point, then you can install Atmosphere and sigPatches. You really needed to read up on some stuff before attempting what you did. If you had used emuNand on a partition, saving the SD by copying won't do it.

Does this mean that there is a mod chip in the switch?
How did you boot up the switch before?
Just pushed the power button and it automatically entered hekate?

EDIT:

Is this the sort of light you are seeing, but red?
