Does anyone know how the morphball launcher works? I ran into my first. and don't know how to activate it. I assumed I would blast a bomb to activate it. But that doesn't work. I am using cheats. So maybe they are interferring?

I needed a break from this Game, i'm currently working on Death's Gambit...
I was not even sure if my Cheats are really needed since so many People are working on it...
(Plus it's one less burden for me when it comes to updating the Cheats)

Another Reason I didn't publish my Cheats is because I mostly found
the same static Addresses and Pointers as the others
and I don't want to be accused of stealing Cheats.

Talking about Optantic's Cheat, what it does is set a Flag to 1, you can easily revert the Cheat
by setting the Value back to 0...

I am using static address cheats, everything found in heap +0x394xxxxx like hp , aeion, moonjump, anything power up related should be static per system language
at least, I have not seen any of the address changed from the last few days of playing

regarding Deaths Gambit: After Life

they made cheats for it, but i think some of the skills stop working after some time
and i forward this from a Discord Conversation:
this might be worth being noted....

if you're starting a new game, and i mean that literally, the "variables" aren't initialized, and yeah for the intro they will not work correctly, i know, because i was checking the memory areas while i loaded a save, and then relaunch the game for a new save.

if you load a save past the intro first, then go back to main menu and start a new game, it keeps those saved game "variable" paths.
but, if you start a new game first, then it will keep the first initialized variable path until you relaunch and load that save.

working with this site has been a giant pain in the ass. ill just wait for cheatslips to steal it. at least that site is in english.
i know i can translate the page, but it's google doing the translating. it's still confusing. and it doesnt help with the catchpa.
it's funny that the site thats from a country known for its bootlegging is that damn paranoid about being stolen from.

or
- Toggle on/off Shinespark form

One of the puzzles is torture.

To those who have finished Metroid Dread, how long was your final fight and do you think it is a waste of time?
I vote for waste of time. I didn't time it but it was very long, way too long and nothing to enjoy, really it is same old since a long time back for this game.

Technically the game is well done. Level design and tuning is badly done. Rushed?
Wait for Metroid Dread remaster? (sadly many remaster don't improve upon the original game)

E.M.M.I stealth action is a wasted opportunity. They could have made some kick ass game play here instead of something that seems like many people are trying to avoid playing. I find it bearable though, I give it passing mark for adding to the feel of the game.

Luckily for people here there are cheat codes to the rescue. There is always risk of spoiling the game this way so it is still lesser than what it could have been.

Ori and Ender Lilies for example are both better Metroidvania game. No mindless going everywhere shooting at everything type of blocker. Every new skill have fairly good use in the game.

Player: Why am I going back to these areas seeming for nothing? The location that I travel back to are isolated, only thing about them is they are shown inside the map of the area.

Game Designer: Because my manager ask me to bring you back?
