Gaming Games that is worth having a 3DS

I doubt that, as we were talking about the Project X Zone games... while there's a vast array of crossover characters from many franchises in both games, the final boss from BD isn't one of them.

Doesn't the Wii U port also have the map shown on the gamepad? I've got that version too, but I've not touched it since getting the PS4 release at least 5 years ago. At least the Wii U version got the Afterbirth update, unlike the 3DS and Vita.
...we were talking abput Bravely Default

So what you are saying is
3ds has no games (or gaems if you want to continue an old joke).

Welcome to the prepare to be flamed side.

Though seriously I am also at a loss, even more so if you went through the GBA and DS -- 3ds does not sufficiently improve on anything there, and certainly does not act as a replacement (if you have a DS you can just about skip the GBA, though you would be missing out). It also lacks much of the third party stuff that made the GBA and DS what they were for me -- most devs that did good stuff on the GBA and DS had either gone pop (game industry and all that), gone andrIOS or at best were doing token efforts and nothing that might hold interest.

I also see Youkai Watch being praised. I take it you all never played Medabots (skip the AX fighting game), Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker, Robopon, Demi kids (go for the dark version -- light version is generally considered the easy mode) or one of the "generally far better than pokemon" pokemon clones that at least were on the GBA and GB/GBC. See also telefang, Jade Cocoon (which if you are fans of Ni No Kuni probably wants to be played if you missed it), metal walker perhaps and maybe custom robo. Lacking competition on the 3ds does not mean it lacks competition.

That said while I have the essence of flamebait uncorked. "Bravely picked the Default settings in RPG maker" is apt. I really do not get what people see in that game/franchise.

ok good day

Shantae games if no one mentioned them already, all 3of them: the original GBC one is on VC, DSiWare one Risky's Revenge, and the Pirate's Curse on 3DS.

and? Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is the only good one the rest is just niche.
Nope not for me, Risky's Revenge is really good, don't ward it off just because it was DSiWare title, but i can understand that original is simplistic in general.

For starters. You decided to open a thread about games people like for the 3ds. Nowhere in the OP of yours did you ever specify the type of game or what have you that you want to hear about. Myself. I love the NES emulator bubbles has got. Its got great retro games I love playing. Is it a 3ds game? No. its a emulator. Its still something thats enjoyed.

3DS is a handheld, not a console.
"Handheld" is just shorthand for "handheld game console". It's still a console, lmao.

Anyway, some of my favorite titles on the 3DS include the following:
Dead or Alive Dimensions, Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo 3DS, Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy, Fire Emblem Awakening, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Super Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, Pokémon Y, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Mario Kart 7, Kirby Triple Deluxe, Puyo Puyo Tetris*, Metroid Samus Returns, Aikatsu Stars! My Special Appeal*, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Ultimate NES Remix, 3D Classics series.

* = denotes JP only release.

Is there anything in particular you like about it? I thought it was fine, but it didn't seem to do anything particularly well compared to other 2D Mario games.
it has amazing replay value, lots of star coins and hidden levels, coin rush is fun, amazing local multiplayer too
