Gaming Mario Kart 7 - Local Multiplayer error "A communication error has occurred"

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me why when I try and make a Local Multiplayer game with Mario Kart 7, I get an error "A communication error has occurred" when I try and make a group? Tried on two different systems and I'm getting the same result

I get this problem a lot too, mostly with online, I can’t join Mario kart 7 and luigis mansion 2 online games due to this error.

It could mean there's a lot of interfierence in the place you tried playing in, you're too far away from each other, there's a hardware problem, or that you need to take off your metal case from your 3DS, since those usually cause wireless functionality to work relatively poorly, at least from what I've heard

is your 3ds modded? if so, did you install mario kart 7 with a cia or something like hshop? its likely its an issue with the cia. If your having issues, try getting a .3ds rom and turning it into .cia using a converter that supports download play. and then install the cia. it might fix. I Have the same issue on a modded 3ds
