Hacking Using eshop to update MH4U

Hello everyone,

I have a question about 3ds CFW. I had hacked my 3DS many years ago and recently picked it up again to play Monster Hunter 4U. I updated Luma but not my 3DS system. I wanted to know if it is ok to go online to update the MH4U DLC and to get the 1.1 update from the 3ds eshop

If you are not able to update (happens sometimes with modded 3ds), simply go to FBI, then to tickets and choose: Delet all unused tickets, then it should work.
(But normaly it also works without, I just had this with ssb3DS)

Updating a modded 3ds works like a unmodded unit.

I think you normally have to update via the same region eshop with game or else it will keep nagging you. I had issues just the other day trying to update mario maker, so I don't know if I'm banned or what, but I got an error trying to update the usa game that was made region free.

Yeah, Ig you just can update 3ds games in the right eshop.
So for example, a USA mario maker, just in a USA eshop. If u are on an other eshop, yu can get the update file easely in the internet and update the game over fbi. Even if it's made region free

If you mean the update for the game: Ig yes. You will find the updates always in the internet, that's the cool thing about this for me
