Banjo Kazooie PC port "Lighthouse" released, includes built-in randomiser and ROM hack support

Harbour Masters were cutting it close with this one, promising a release of their Banjo Kazooie PC port "Lighthouse" by the end of this month. And they did not disappoint! Their latest port is now live, and features a small assortment of fun features for lovers of the game. Outside of being 100% completable, you'll also have access to a randomiser, as well as compatibility with a swath of ROM hacks and custom assets. There is still plenty more in the works for the port, so stay tuned for any future announcements.

Those interested in downloading it for themselves can do so by visiting the project's GitHub page. As always you will need to provide your own game files, but you should be pretty used to that by now.

Oh, COME ON! Another one?
exactly. thats so weird... i mean its not like the other one isnt really, really good.
with paper mario 64 i get it, that port was... shambolic, but the BK port was insanely good.
i love that so many people put in so much effort for us, i juwt think it could be more evenly distributed. we seem to only get the same ports for the the same games a lot. only the most popular ones.

Banjo Recomp doesn't work on my "old" PC, but this one works perfectly...

I've got a favorite already.

All recompilations from Harbour Masters are legend! Thanks a lot! Keep 'em coming!

Edit:
Just played the first level using my 8BitDO N64 controller and it works flawless after reconfiguring the inputs.

Do any of these PC Ports allow you to edit the requirements of how many jiggies are required to enter each world and note requirements for doors along with Mumbo Tokens needed for unlocks. Banjo's Backpack Mod Tool used to be good but it glitches the rom and doesn't load the intro after patching a rom. Basically I want to play the game without having to collect 99% of notes, Jiggies and things, I want to do a quick playthrough collecting 70% of items. I never liked rare collectathons but some parts of this game were good.

As much as I LOVE anything HM puts out, they need to diverse their games a bit. Working on this and a TP port when both already have really good PC Ports released is a bit unnecessary especially since all that work can be put into a game that doesn't have a port yet

What are you working on?

Maybe Harbour Masters might want to take a look at what you've achieved so far.

Their ports work for people -like me-, when ports from other groups/devs don't, so that's enough for me; also, I'm getting those ports for free, so what would entitle me to demand what I would consider proper to work on?

Thank you for missing the point completely. This isn't a dick measuring contest. I'm also not making any sort of demands. This is what I like to call feedback. If you aren't familiar with feedback, I'll drop the definition

"Information about a reaction to a product that is used as a basis for improvement"

Hope this helps (:
