Hey all!

Have my PS4 pro running perfectly with a self host but I am going to replace my HDD with something bigger. Don't really care about losing all the data as I can play my retail titles on my ps5.

Now, from what I understand, when you swap a new hdd in, you need to provide it with a FULL recovery firmware PUP. I cannot find a download link for 7.55 anywhere for the life of me! Anyone have a link for the 7.55 full recovery file needed for a new HDD install? You can download the latest 8.xx one directly from Sony but it seems they don't archive the older ones nor can I find it anywhere on other sites.

Thanks!

Darth Sternie's site.
And there it is lol. Thanks for the help!

So using the offline wifi module, was able to launch the exploit on the second try. The first try I needed to reboot the ps4 and it did the HDD scan.

Now I am offline and can go to the manual site and get maybe 3-4 out of memory errors then it works just fine. Super quick!

Is the recovery reboot problem only on the initial set up? After you get that working with hoping just a few reboots and it caches it, are just the out of memory errors the only thing you have to retry?

Thanks!
