yes I think he's correct. The highest I've seen for the 2nd slot is 2, and that's the max legal limit for skills like expert.
However at least in 1.11 you can go beyond the legal limit for the 2ND slot (and 2nd only), for example max might 2, expert 7 3-1-1, and you won't get crashes or corrupted save, because the game apparently only tests the first slot.

ok thank you, so I guess its probably safer to not go beyond the limit if Capcom ever decides to introduce an auto check function for the second skill

U can Go to the Max of 3 on skill 1in 1.11 with no crash, but the Max lv of the skill must be 3.

There is an extra D. For atmosphere anything outside of [ ] can only be group of 8 digits.

This is a ASM hack, to understand what it does you need to reverse the byte order and run it through a disassembler such as the following. The code pattern looks like the first part is code cave and the last the branch.

Now do the rest to get the full code

Hey Guys I have a question about the charm cheats (max levels). Apparently a guy called dtlnor tested the legally best obtainable charms in the game and found out that the second skill has a limit of 2, so instead of a lets say 2 wex, 7 expert 3/1/1 its actually only possible to obtain an 2 wex, 2 expert 3/1/1 charm via melding (this includes all other skills except a few tier 4 skills), does anyone know if that's correct?

WE 2 + CE 2 [3-1-1] is max you can get from melder
WE can cheat WE 3 + CE 7 [3-2-1] but only use solo. Using them online can be risky if players check your gear and when you join a lobby they can see your MH ID as well

well with this logic why do we even have all those cheats here because people can just play the game normally? We use cheats because we find they make our game more fun, and personally I would like to have my defense buffed up a bit without sacrificing all the other aspects that the decorations can buff up.

I mean it's fine if you just say "no". I'm not entitled to any cheat and grateful for what we already got.

Here is what I figure out using the Programmer calculator. The difference is 2000. I have tested and works. If you know what I'm talking about, you know what to do with most of the code. Hope this helps.

thanks to some insight from new friends in Dsicord and TomSwitch insight i learned its possible to update the cheats yourself

for example, if the code doesn't work, just add 2 on A and make it become C, if it is 7, then change to 9, if it is 8, then change to A

add+2 to the 4th digit or letter in the first code line

we have a big list of cheats, about 90% of all cheats are updated, ill be a little late to update the file here due to work

i will need extra time to revise the names and replace some cheats with TomSwitch pointer search style cheats that doesn't require you to have a separate OFF cheat code

and let me activate it with a button

I bet it might be possible to make a layered armor cheat. I know it was brought up in the first page and it was said to be impossible because it needed to modify the actual game files. But there exists a cheat engine table that modifies the memory instead of the files themselves. I don't know much about how this stuff works (especially how the switch stuff works), but with my very limited understanding of how these cheats work, then it might actually be possible. Maybe if you equip one if the currently available layered sets (kamurai or the amiibo one) then it might be possible the edit it. Again I've never made a mod or script or whatever, hell I'm not even sure what all this is actually called. But maybe if the way it worked was that it overrided the currently equipped layered armor with a specific one that you chose and edit in the .txt file. In world you could use that cheat engine table to change what your layered armor was, the you could save that layered set in the layered armor loadouts page in the item box, once it was saved you could equip it whenever you wanted to without needing to use the cheat table. My point is in world it was possible via memory manipulation and not replacing game files, so who knows (well maybe you guys know). Im sorry if this was already discussed and disregarded or if my understanding of the subject matter is so flawed its headache inducing, but omg the things I would do to get a layered armor cheat, its all I ever want and I really don't want to wait a year for the grank expansion to get it like in iceborne.

If you look at the code for Money and Kamura points there is a part that has the value of 05F5E0FF.

Running that through a hexadecimal to decimal calculator you realize that the value of 05F5E0FF = 99,999,999.

With that you can infer that changing that value to 0 will set your Money or Kamura points to 0.

Example with the 1.1.1 codes:

If you wanted something more specific like, 1,000,000 you would need to run that through a decimal to hexadecimal calculator and then plug that value in. 1,000,000 = F4240 or more specifically 000F4240

The newer codes for Money and Kamura points look different, but the same logic should apply. You can also do this with a bunch of the other codes, like attack, defense, the ones that set items to a specific quantity and so on.

PS. If you are running Windows 10 the calculator app the comes pre-installed can be set to Programmer mode which makes it ultra easy to convert from hex to dec and vise-versa.
