its for the regular version, you cant use the same file for the ex version.

also, the ex 60fps patch in enhancements/ works fine without changes

Was kinda disappointed about the old pixelated text. Is there a way we could fix it?
for the pc version, I use a cleaner aesthetics mod to remedy this. Would there be any way to fix the wiiu port with this?

bug found - If left running in attract mode it results in a black screen. 5.5.5e Wii U - Same on 5.5.4e

Haxchi cfw - 32GB/64GB SD cards tested. No other issues found

Unable to test 512GB SD as being used as USB HD until 4TB drive is delivered.. Can switch all over to 2TB when delivered.. - Max for Wii U is 2TB I believe.. 2 will be connected at a later date.. Just need 4TB for laptop so I can clear 2TB of movies, TV series and games.. I'll be happy then..

I may be a noob to forum but not a noob for Wii U/PS3 modding... hehe

??? Can you use 2 Wii U gamepads on 1 Wii U console? I have 2 Wii U's as a complete setup was only £15 more than a pad (£90).. What would you do? I purchased the whole lot for £90.. Pad is £75 from same place.. Why not get another Wii U setup instead.. lol.. Looking at 3rd one now.. ;)

Nintendont forwarder working fine with "wup-028" - Gamecube adapter.. Need Wiimote for fullscreen use - Don't use pad - DON'T press +.. Use Wiimote to select and then press A on option needed (BLACK SCREEN - No INPUT FIX).. Works fine with Gamecube pad.. To reset nintendont - ALL buttons pressed at once! (on Gamecube pad) - No power off needed but still a pain.. lol. Drive should be accessed for reset.. Awkward pressing the Z button but it works.. Games offer other combinations for resets too.

Does there exist a mod where you can choose within the game to play normal 1 player mode or 2 player splitscreen, within the same game? In the past the 2 experiences had to be separate roms. Now that we're modding the PC port on the level we are, I would think it's possible to create a version of the game that properly supports 1 or 2 player mode within the same title. But if we have, I haven't found it yet, does anyone know if such a thing exists?

You can apply the same mods here. (Do note that the Wii U only has 1 GB RAM, so be careful about very big mods. Also, reading from the SD Card is very slow, so, if you are loading your mod from there, the game will take a while before it starts)

A doubt... Split screen coop hack rom and others hacks works too?

I assume this mod edits the code? In that case, you need to make the same edits to this port.
You would also need to add code for a second controller. That shouldn't be too hard for someone who has minimal knowledge of coding homebrew for the Wii U.

Does this need cfw (haxchi) or does it work on ofw (homebrew)?
I think you need CFW only if you install the game to the home menu, as you would need sigpatching and SD Card permission.
If you are running it from the Homebrew Launcher (HBL), then you don't need CFW.

The real draw of playing the two player mod on Wii U would be dual screen co-op, not just split screen. (Having both would obviously be the best)

There aren't enough proper dual screen games on Wii U as is.

Holy shit, can someone that knows what they're doing make this happen?

Seems like such an obvious idea on retrospect, I've long desired more homebrew to make use of the 2 screens beyond just mirroring, don't know why I never considered requesting so for this.

Here's a heads up, I applied the 3d coins patch (from github : enigma9o7 : smlinux) along with NODRAWINGDISTANCE=1 and causes some performance issues on the wii u as its not quite powerful enough to handle shed loads of coins across the full level. Best to keep the original draw distance (it plays better too as having everything visible actually gives away a lot of secrets!)

That would be awesome. Does someone know if it would be be too hard to implement?
I haven't seen many homebrew apps that use both screens for different things. I actually can't remember of a single one

Hello i am back AGAIN asking how to compile render96 version. I actually already did it with the regular models :) but i would like how do I compile RENDER96 version of this port? (Like the one from aboodXD's video) I honestly dont care which version of render96. please help

ive heard it works but expect drops under 30fps

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

i wish i got it working but shit just kept craping compiling wise

Is there some kind of easier way to do this on windows? Not very easy to understand the MSYS2 Stuff. Just figured there would be like some kind of GUI or something.

maybe if there's a docker method. you would still need to use linux, but it wouldn't require dependencies.

there is a docker file. I've posted an issue on there on what instructions to use for the docker file. I got an error about permissions with and without altering the make file in visual studio code. I tried chmod +x and sudo, but neither eliminated the permissions issue.
