It is totally normal to prefer cheaper options. I do too. but, some prices just cannot be achieved technically.
Sandisk USBs are known for being very cheap, if we ignore the durability issues. in here You can get Sandisk Cruzer Blade 16GB for 5 dollars.
5 dollars.. 16GB for 5 bucks but 900GB for less than a dollar? It's too good to be true, in other words It's impossible. You should look for more resonable price range.
Plus, Using cheap off-brand stuffs are usually not recommended, mostly because of their durabilities and stuffs. You never gonna know when they'll die, and it could be a month away from dying. At least use the on-brand ones with somewhat reputable durability.
Lastly, We usually just suggest using HDDs. Mainly because it is usually compatible with Wii, Large size for a cheap price(idk if it's expensive than the USB these days), etc etc. If you have to use USB, we aren't stopping you. but we just recommend HDDs.
