Hello everyone, I have a problem since yesterday, my R4 no longer works when I launch it, it makes a white screen. I've got 2 New 3DS XL on 11.14.0-46 and the R4 doesn't work on either of them. I dowloaded the last kernel who I believe is the 1.64 but it doesn't do anything, still white screen. I just want to play Pokémon, can anyone help me please?

Here's a pic of what my R4 looks like :

Thanks

Do you mean that the card was previously working on both 3DS units, and has now stopped working? Or have you never been able to get this card to do anything?

If all else fails you might consider using TWiLight Menu to launch your DS games instead.

It was working juste fine, then I updated one of my New 3DS XL and now it doesn't work on either of them
How does TWiLight Menu works? I've never heard about it

Do legitimate DS cartridges still work on both units?

TWiLight Menu loads DS games from the SD card inside the 3DS. There are some cases in which a flashcard still works better, but not too many. (Of course it requires CFW to be installed.)

Use this and then try to load your flashcard again
I did that and now my 3DS doesn't turn on. It makes a blue light 1 second.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Okay so I downloaded again Luma and my R4 still makes a white screen

I saw that the kernel 1.64 was good for the firmware so I don't understand why it does that

Perharps it could be a problem with the microSD of the flashcard or the kernel.

Please check if the microSD has FAT32 format (or FAT, if its size is less of 2GB) and put the kernel files and folders on its root. And also check if the microSD is adequately inserted into the respective slot on the flashcard.

PS: You can (re)format the microSD card for the flashcard following this tutorial, if you want

I haven't used a flashcart but have you tried the old, remade, bluecardfix?

If @Kamanberu has a console with Luma CFW (on its latest version 10.2.1), there's no need to install/use that bluecardfix thing, because Luma itself applies all the required patches to remove the DS mode flashcards blocking (or whitelist applying) by default

I gave up with my R4 because it pissed me off lol and I use Twilight Menu now, it works fine!
I put a 64gb sd card in my 3DS so I have my DS and 3DS games on it now, thanks for the replies though
