Hi everyone,

I would like to know what is the most economic yet the best type, size, etc. micro SD card for a SD2Vita. I have read aroud that the SanDisk card technology is the best aroud but is there an official spec sheet for the best SD card you should use ? In Eurogamer article, see link below, it says that for 16 GB SONY official memory card had, on average, a read speed of 7.60 MB/s and a write speed of 7.29 MB/s. Therefore if I buy a card with 100 MB/s speed (read and write) would that be more than fast enough to store and read ps vita games, homebrew and emulators ? Thanks in advance.

2TB is probably the theoretic limit. no micro sd card exists with that size. I noticed that there's now a class 10 micro sd card of 1TB that's about $50 cheaper than the A2 one. same size except A2 is much faster. you may or may not notice a difference, not sure. the memory cards by sony are supposed to be pretty fast by default, but without documentation, who's to say for sure?

$50 for 1TB Micro sdcard... God I wish I found that when I found mine... All my Micro SD's are SanDisc Ultras from Amazon..... P. S I was jealous when u said you have 3 switches with 1 tb SD's I still don't have a switch......because of $$$.. My mortgage is killing me financially I way over stepped... But anyways quick question mate... If I did get a switch as I do want one... I thought I needed that Chip... Or is the atmosphere another ways to hack one?... I haven't even researched how this is why I'm asking...

no, it's $50 less. it's still around $179.
Ohh gotcha! Bit pricey for me atm... & the switch is it easy to hack do I need that mod chip? Or is there another way I don't know of... I actually been playing switch games on my PC I finished Mario Odyssey about a week ago.. Great game too short... But was fun

I have over 100 hours in that on my legit system(s). I've been searching for power moons, up to 843, and I read there's 880.
I bashed thru it.. But I completely enjoy it all the way.. There's not too many switch games that I'm. Excited about... But I will try Zelda Skyward Sword HD.. If it works well on PC... That zelda is worth a play again... I just hate the end of that game where you have to fight every boss again...

I haven't beaten skyward sword. I think I got to the sand dungeon or just beyond it, so maybe dungeon 6 iirc. that's how I prefer my zeldas to be, not breathe of the wild, which I still haven't played.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

iirc, there's a bug in the wii version that made it impossible to complete the game unless you download an update from nintendo. I don't have that update wad despite downloading the wad database from iso before it tanked.

Wait what? You haven't played Zelda BOTW? That was the game I bought my WIIU for all those years ago... Go play it now it's the best Zelda of them all huge.. A million things to do also it's nicer on Cemu emulator 4K texture mods ect.. Works perfectly on pc ( I finished it on WIIU 1st) I'm going through it all again on pc... It's basically Nintendo's Skyrim... I finished Zelda SWS on my hacked wii 1 no problems.. But fighting every boss at the end.. Was completely unnecessary & a pain... But the rest of the game was amazing

Thanks a lot for your replies guys. @NeoGranzon do Samsung cards work ok ? Good performance, speeds and all ? I have seen a couple 2nd hard Samsung SD cards and if they work fine, I'm thinking on buying one.

@jefazo92 ,Sdcard Samsung work very well.
There are 4 types of Samsung cards with different colors: orange, red, green and gray.
I recommend the red ones(Evo Plus that i use)because the green and gray ones(Select and Pro)are for cameras and I'm not sure if they are compatible with Sd2vita.
