And that's not even mentioning that they might have included Atmosphere code in SX OS. GPL can get quite messy.

I've heard it's hard as hell to get one of their modchips now after nintendo sued modchip distributors. no one wants to take the chance of selling them now. and, I couldn't tell you about trying to get a license. it may or may not work, so getting a modchip is just one part of the hurdle.

Outside of the 2 ppl being caught by the FBI we don't really know. Everything else is sheer assumptions. The forum probably had to be shutdown since they didn't want to risk anymore members associated with sxos.
Its definitely the end of the road for patched Switch's tho and getting the OG unpatched switch can be just as hard to get since those models are discontinued unless your willing to take chances with Ebay/Amazon

And the recent lawsuit against Gary will give Nintendo the ownership of all their sites. Including the .rocks sites.
