Hacking Atmosphere crashing when launching the NES/SNES Switch Online app

The NES Online app just crashes at startup and the SNES app crashes when selecting a game

You should not be on CFW /Atmosphere when trying to go online esp with Nintendy services. Good way to get banned!

Use Retroarch homebrew and get all and more..

If you are banned, then the switch can no longer have access to Nintendy services including Nes/Snes Online.....
You can install Retroarch Homebrew, without any online activation/NSO subscription and get nes, snes, n64, sega, gba, etc all for free, Just add your own ROMS...You can find it here :

That's weird because it only started crashing recently, I could play it just fine before.

Then you must not have been fully (perma) banned...Sometimes Nintendy will temporarily ban you, then lift the ban later, but if your on CFW playing online, odds are good your banned completely now....Best way to check try to go the Nintendo game store on the switch...if you can get there, then not banned, if not, then banned!

I got fully banned back in like 2019, couldn't access anything.
Anyway, there are alot of cores for RetroArch, which ones are better?

Obv you didn't cause you could not have been playing Nes/Snes online on banned switch.
All are good for each System you need it for....I suggest getting them all, then test each and decide yourself which is your favorite. When you open a ROM file inside Retroarch, it will pick a core auto for you, or let you select between several core for that Rom.

Can you access the Nintendy eShop still?

Actually, depending on where you get the files for NSO's retro stuff you can use them on switches without NSO subscriptions or even banned ones. i know from experience. the method you obtain them likely means a difference, but i obviously can't link the ones i'm using.

Nope, sadly my only option is RetroArch

Well its got access to a bigger library than the official app. Plus there are some user-friendly customization you can play around with.
