Hacking Games don't appear in USB loader

Hey ! My little brother just asked me to crack his wii, and it's what I done, I used pimp my wii, the Homebrew is installed and all have been done correctly.

But, I have a problem, I downloaded games from gamulator, and somes games are in WBFS and others in iso, so, I used WBFSTOISO to convert the 2 other in iso, so, now all my games are in ISO format. I used WBFS manager to format my HDD in WBFS and put all my iso into the HDD from this software, and when I plug the HDD into the good port of my Wii and launch Usb Loader GX he show me correctly in the bottom the number of games ( 6 ) , but on the interface, I only have 2 games, all other are "invisible", no text, just nothing. And the 2 only games who are available are the 2 one converted from WBFS to iso.

I tryed to convert all games in WBFS format, but no success. What Can i do ?

Please use always the WiBackup Manager for the Game Transfer from the PC to the USB Device.

It splits/checks the Games and names the correct Folders/ID for your Games.

No need to convert something,you can use WBFS and ISO Files.
Please be sure,your "Gamedumps/Downloads" are ok.

Please use a FAT32 formatted HDD for the Wii.
If you use an Flash Drive and that kind,it is maybe working too,but also expect maybe some Issues...

Hey ! I forgot to say it, but I also used Wii backup Manager, but no result. When I select all my iso games, only 2 appears on the list, the 2 converted early in iso. The other don't appear on the list and I can't upload them.

What does the Wii Backup Manager says for your Game List please ?

Here he what I see, When i upload, only wbfs format appear, other are correct iso but I can't upload them. You also can see on WBM "The Thousand Years door" like he is upload, but nothing on the list.... like the 5 others.. Also nothing on database and dl

All Games that are RED marked where NOT transferred,
because the Game/ISO/wbfs Formats are wrong/damaged/corrupted or something else.

So you maybe have to search for more "reliable" Sources ("Redump" is maybe a good search Term and "archive.org") for your Games.

Not my devise, because 2 games actually work... Only WBFS format... . HDD / SD card. Tryed all format. No one work.

Also tryed your Redump and archive, found 6 copy of my games, download all 6 iso, and nothing change, all 6 don't charge like all others iso...

@alexander1970 asked you in what format is your USB medium (wbfs, FA32, NTFS)?

Could you post a syscheck report, please, to see if you are running out of updated iOS and CIOS.

I agree though, please post a Syscheck.

And are the games that are problematic in wii backup manager the same ones you used WBFSTOISO on? Try NOT using this tool, and just have wii backup manager use the raw files and it will handle any necessary conversions.

If it's still failing, instead of wbfs try fat32 (or you can do this regardless as fat32 has more benefits than wbfs). While the wbfs format should would, it's not as popular for a number of reasons, and maybe the issues you face will disappear if using the "standard" format

He said his downloaded GAMES has WBFS format too.

Also he used the WBFS Manager (with the known Bug.....)

So it is pretty sure a Issue with the USB Device...but ok..he knows his Setup best.

So, again to said you ALL I have done.

I downloaded games in many website, now i'm at 9 differents website, SOME games are in WBFS and some other in ISO. Like I said, ALL game who are in WBFS AND converted in iso work well, in all devises. BUT all games downloaded in ISO directly don't work. That what I don't understand. If all iso file would not work that would help me, but games converted from WBFS to iso not working.

I tryed :

- Put games directly on a HDD format to FAT32 in root directory : not working
- Put games in a specific folder like WBFS manager do : not working
- Format HDD in WBFS with special wii software and upload games : only games who was in wbfs BEFORE I convert them in iso work
- Do the same on 2 other HDD : not working.
- Do the same on SD card 2GB : Not working
- Do the same on SDXC : Not working
- Burn on CD : Working BUT my remote work like 1/3 times for no reason.
- I also downloaded games on 9 differents website but all iso are same. If you have a game iso who you are sure he work, can you send a link to me so I try. Thanks

try installing d2x cios on your wii if you installed something funny

Your cios (especially that one in slot 249) is outdated. You are using Waninkoko's rev 17, which definitely isn't ideal, and I don't recall for sure but this may not even have fat32 support. That being said, if some games are working for you using your current setup, maybe something else is going wrong as well. In any case, you should update your softmods. I suggest modmii's syscheck updater feature/wizard, but you can use wii.guide as well.

If your cIOSs are outdated, your usbloader are probably as well. Make sure u update these.

Use wii backup manager to transfer games, they should be something like USB:/wbfs/game name/titleID.wbfs (or iso or whatever). I think you may have tried this already, but definitely these do not get saved to the root or a different directory.

I am confused about something... are you taking wbfs files and converting them to iso, then transferring to your hdd? You should do the opposite, convert your ISOs to wbfs format using wii backup manager (and make sure your cios's are up to date)

Edit: Waninkoko's rev 17 is pretty old, his latest was rev21 but had some bugs which were fixed in a mod of his rev 21, called d2x (version 1) . Since then d2x has been updated many times and is now at version 8 (or version 10 beta 52, which is pretty much equal to v8)

like xflak said if your converting your games to wbfs before using backup manager please dont directly add your isos to backup manager it will convert it correctly and mobe it to your hard drive with ease
ps please try not to say that rom site as it is against the rule to saying rom sites

This WII is my personnal, my little brother have one with I guess all update done, I did it like few days ago with PMW. This one is my personnal who was working well on the past ( 5-10 years ago or likes ) but actually iso don't work too here so, Will try to update it first to be like him.

XFlak : Thanks for your answer, Like i said in a past post, the game don't appear in WBM, only WBFS converted to iso appear, I don't know why And if I make the directory manually, that change nothing.

About converting, When I try to conver them from iso to WBFS It not working, I dont know why, like on my last screenshot the game don't load, I was thinking that the iso is corrupted but 8 games downloaded on 9 differentes website.. I think the problem is not from the iso

when you start wii backup manager, go to the "files" tab, and click the "add" button, then "Files", from here you should be able to select wbfs files, iso, ciso, as well as all sorts of zipped file formats. If you are doing this and the games still aren't appearing, please provide some screenshots or something
