REQUEST: MAJORAS MASK NSP PORT.
looking for someone that could make a Majoras Mask Port for me. My Family is home for the holiday and this is a game we all played together since it was launched. We no longer have our N64 or Wii U to play it on anymore. This year has been hard on us all, Lost my Brother to Covid this year. If someone could make this port for me I will buy you coffee, beer, cookeis, you name it. This is a very important game to us.
You can play this with RetroArch (either N64 or 3DS) and make a forwarder NSP for it with nro2nsp.

ooof, im not 100% on that. I updated everything via retroarch

n64, downloaded this package
-snip-
Dude, remove the link.
It's against Temp rules to post warez links.

Also, I suggest you don't rely on those kind of installations for running N64 games.
Use only RetroArch and the Mupen64Plus Next core by using title redirection to access Homebrew Launcher.
Then boot your ROMs from there.

I use that setup and Majora's works fine. Same for SM64.

 I could like to ask any homebrew "FTP client"?
(I have search in google, it seems not found the FTP client for switch)
(I know it has FTP server on the switch, I am using it , it is very useful.)

I am thinking if the switch has the FTP client+File manager,
It can easy to upload and download the file on the switch,
The users can easier to upload their switch save file(use JKSV to export first) or upload RetroArch save to their FTP:creep:.
The main feature is the upload part.:P

Is there such thing as “bluetooth enabler” on Switch so that adapters like Genki wouldn’t be needed to connect wireless earphones?

Joycons use Bluetooth protocol, so I believe it should be possible to connect them to the device with workarounds right?

No, hasn't been done. Last I heard was the Bluetooth software stack hasn't been reversed in enough detail yet. Also might possibly cause interference with Joy-Cons, if that's the reason Nintendo didn't implement it themselves, but could still be good in handheld mode, or using wired controllers.

Is there a game mod download tool? Like a DB for Switch community patches with different profiles for each game (i.e 60fp/quality graphics/balanced), that can be applied and downloaded on the Switch without requiring a PC connection.

REQUEST: Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity Save Editor

I love the save editors for Hyrule Warriors on Wii U and Switch, and the game almost cries for a save editor lol. I'd love one for Age of Calamity.

Would it be possible to make an overlay that let you switch networks without having to go through the home menu? I have a couple access points in my house that I frequently switch between and would love to speed it up a bit.

Please forgive my ignorance on this question, but I recently saw that the Source Code for Devil May Cry 2 was leaked after Capcom servers were hacked.

I know that PS2 is pretty hard to emulate and the emulation for that console will probably never happen for the switch...but since the source code is available...wouldn't it be possible to get DMC2 running on the Switch? What else would we need to make it happen?

I'd like to see a port of GTA vice city and San Andreas, kinda like the GTA 3 re3 was done. Pleeeaaassseee!
We don't have the source code for Vice City or San Andres, at least according to this wikipedia page:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_commercial_video_games_with_available_source_code

Here's a brief explanation of how GTA III was done:

I have very minimal understanding of how you get video games like GTA III to run on something like the Switch, but from what I understand, you need to either emulate it (not possible for PS2 on Switch) or find and use the source code so the game can run natively on the hardware.

So here is the thing about leaks especially ones that pertain to source code, for the most part they are not very useful for projects and are more so treated as easter eggs or something to collect. Code, much like games, is copyrighted and therefore unauthorized distribution of it can put you into legal trouble. Therefore if copyrighted code is leaked, legally no one unauthorized is allowed to have access to it. Meaning this source code leak cannot be used to help run the game on other platforms. But technically that is a lie because there is a term known as "cleanroom programming" where one entity would focus on making the actual code while another entity would have access to the unauthorized software but only guide the other entity if they are heading in the right or wrong direction. Some people argue that even that is not safe enough but either way, having the source code being leaked does not help in the long run.

tl;dr There is a big difference between source code being made publicly available and leaked from a legal perspective.

Ah.. Okay. I've heard this term from Modern Vintage Gamer. I was aware that using the cleanroom method could save you from legal action by the owners of the IP.... I just figured this scene being what it is, someone or someone's would say "F it" and do it anyway. Not the case, I suppose?

Lets use a real example. Remember that the source code of the bootrom for Mariko units leaked and everyone thought that this would lead to a coldboot exploit? Its been a month but nothing still has come out of it and I have a feeling that will not change.

God I would freaking love a ColdBoot exploit... How did that Mariko bootromrom source code get leaked? Was it with the same stuff that was leaked on 4chan?

Sorry I am just recently getting back into the scene. I bought a Switch a few years ago intending to mod it, but decided to wait for a while until the hacking scene had moved further along. Finally decided it'd be a good time to get into it. I was REALLY hoping there would be a coldboot exploit by now...but on the positive side everything seems to run a lot better as compared to when I first bought the Switch.

It was pulled from Nintendo's servers much like most of the Pokemon stuff during the "Gigaleak". Also we technically already have a coldboot exploit. In fact, it was the first one for the Switch.

Is it the hardmod with the injector soldered inside of the Switch case?
