ROM Hack ACNH edit island represntative

Hey guys, as in title, is there any way to edit who is the island representative? I've tried messing around in NHSE but couldn't quite figure it out

Maybe there is some way to edit the save or use a cheat to accomplish this? Thanks guys

There's presently no way to do this that I'm aware of. I just let my roommate use my account when he wants to do something only the rep can do.

The "best way" could be making a backup.of the island, delete save and restart with the acc you want as representative, play until you can save, inject island and check

I have restarted my island a sht load of times, but depends on what you are gona do.
Backing up the save and then reinjecting or extracting the map files and replacing the new island.
Restarting island will make the first villager the representative, thats 100% safe.
Reloading the save with jksv could not work, not 100% sure. But i think its a 60% chance or higher.
Extracting the map files and reinjecting on the new map its 100% safe
