Hello,

recently I've installed Atmosphere CFW on my switch. I've followed one guide which told me to create SD partition which limited me to 32 GB if I'm not wrong. Considering I bought 64 GB SD for my Switch is SD partition really necessary? I really don't need additional memory on my OFW since I always buy physical releases and I wanted all 64 gigs for backups.

In a case if SD partition isn't really needed, how can I disable it without deleting CFW and emunand?

emuMMC has to be at least 32 GB in size whether as a partition or as a file. You only need an emuMMC though if you want a buffer for bricks or if you want to go to a lower firmware in the future for an exploit.

Emunand is for dual boot and mainly to keep online on one side and or not get sysnand banned. If you dont care about dual boot then you dont need to partition card. 30GB partitions always work for me as nand is 29.xGB.

So:
CFW side you get to do all the cool stuff you normally cant etc
OFW side like a switch off the shelves.

Both sides completely separate from each other.
