Hardware Joycon stopped being recognised

After the latest AMS update, my joycons stopped turning on. I unplug and replug the battery and they work fine until I dock my Switch with them attached, then they won't turn on.
I tried using other joycons and the same thing happens.

Any ideas?

Try updating the joycon firmware if it is giving you problems.

Thanks for your help, I tried that but with no luck. None of them need updating

I have the same problem, I updated atmosphere but not firmware, I have 10.2.0 now.

Btw, it's enough to hold the middle round button to reboot them, then they connect just fine.

Oh wow thanks man! Maybe it's a problem with AMS? Good to know I am not the only one.

its only happened to me once over the last 2+ years, and I was using sxos. Sometimes it just desyncs a joycon for an unknown reason.
