so I recently modded my DSi and installed Twilight menu, I downloaded some DS and gb/gba games and I decided I wanted to play Yoshi's island on the SNES emulator. So I did the same thing as usual to load roms onto twilight menu (SD -> roms -> SNES) and I loaded the Yoshi's island rom into the Snes folder. when I put the SD card back into my DSi everything was fine I wnt over to the SNES folder to play the game and when I tried it loaded into the select rom screen but the ony thing there was ROM.smc, I was confused but clicked on it anyway and when I did the top screen went right and the bottom screen had emulator buttons such as , Select ROM, Load State, Save State etc. and at the bottom right it said 86% but never went higher, is there a way to fix this, thanks in advance. (if it helps my Yoshi's island rom is in the .smc format)

Note: I did try putting the Yoshi's island rom in the .sfc format but got the same result

That's a 3DS application, not a DSi application
right !

I know this isn't exactly what you are asking for, but you could also play Yoshi's Island DS or Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, both of which work on nds-bootstrap and GBARunner2, according to their compatibility lists.
Would love to use first original SNES yoshi's island guess i can give gba Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 with color restoration to match the SNES verison

That's fo
how about snesbubble? i read that does good??
That's for 3DS as stated in my post I'm using a DSi thanks though because I was thinking of getting a 3DS so this'll help in the future

Yoshi's Island is not compatible, as it uses a chip that isn't emulated.
Oh OK thanks a bunch I guess I'll just have to play the gba version and try to get some sort of colour restoration.

quick question, is ther a list of compatible games that I could view? because the SNES era of games have some of my favourites and I'd love to download and play some with no trial and error?

Yes. Just search for the list.
I got twilight menu ++ on my dsi but my snes roms do not even show when I open the snes folder there is no roms to be seen even though I check several times and yes they are in the right format also when I try running the SnemulDS it says this app requires a ram disk and does not let me open it so not only can I not even see my roms the only possible emulator for it does not even open also in my gba runner 2 l and r buttons do not work for any of the gba games like metroid fusion or metroid zero mission or castlevania.

To run SNES ROMs, you need to either install Unlaunch, or use a flashcard, which allows saving to work, where the Unlaunch method doesn't allow saving game progress.

Only to get sure:

Thank you.:)

Thank you.:)
I have smc and ones with sfc but none of them show
You mean like "Super Mario.sfc".
Did you checked it on your PC that is really nothing more like "Super Mario.sfc.exe" for Example ?
Is the Option "Show File Extensions" enabled on your PC/Windows please ?

Please excuse me for asking this,we had such Cases where the Roms/Files had an Additional Extension added.:)
Be so kind please and check it please.
Thank you.:)

Reformat your SD card, and use FAT32 with 32kb cluster size.
