Hello, I hope someone can give me some insight into my issue. I have searched for similar issues but havent found one, let alone an answer :(

I have installed CFW, and Unlauncher (Definitely working with and without SD card), used the HiyaCWF Helper to create the necessary files, waited for that to complete (where it says eject the sd card), everything seems to be installed correctly aside from TwighlightMenu++, console boots and shows CFW logo, then goes to normal home screen, from there I launch TwighlightMenu++, get splash screen and then it loads into an alternate homescreen where I can see folders and directories as icons. From there I try to run Twighlight Menu again it shows the splash screen again then just goes back to the alternate menu system, pretty sure something is wrong, but no idea what.

I have tried manually copying the files from the latest version over to the SD card, buit yield the same disappointing results.

Any help would be appreciated.

Im on the latest DSI firmware, and using a 1GB SD card formatted as FAT32 with default cluster size.

Cheers

Try posting in the official thread. You tend to get help faster and if it’s a legitimate bug, it can be dealt with faster

Done thanks for the reply, I'll just blame you if I get told off for double posting :P :)

I believe this alternate homescreen where I can see folders and directories as icons itself is TWLMenu++, you should now be setup.

Its not the menu that it should be as shown in every guide i've checked :( Its basically the normal home screen but instead of icons its folders as per the SD card.

TWLMenu++ has many themes and such
This is what I have mine set to boot to by default

It may also look something this, the DS Classic Menu, is this what you're thinking of?

It may also take the appearance of a 3DS Menu, SEGA Saturn menu, and some others, some with color variations as well.

Depending on your settings, pressing SELECT will either take you to the classic menu or to the settings menu. If the former, press the bottom-center icon to go to settings. From there, you can customize TWLMenu++.

Ahh that makes sense, yes thats right, when I press select I get the layout as you posted above, but as you said the alternate menu I explained is the twighlight menu, I think that confused me, but just went into the rom folder loaded an NDS rom no problems, so issue was on my lack of knowledge on how the menu system works, thanks buddy helped me out there :) <3
