Homebrew ALL 3 Methods to get unbanned from recent ban wave

Bans usually end with 002 but you have a completely different error code

The ban i have to do with is a credit card fraud which,i caused myself being an idiot so that probably wouldn't help

The ban number shows one thats from a fraudulent card transaction on the account. Its not one that I believe you can unban from aside from a new 3ds and a new NNID.

We have no proof that it actually worked for him so take it with a grain of salt
i know that it sucks

i tried that but the option used in said tutorial he used was gone

No, I have personally not tried it since I no longer have a banned 3ds. This method should deffinatly work since this new method unbans any ban and the source code can be viewed if you doubt it. You could also try method 1 instead which should also unban your 3ds.

I would have liked to unban using 1st method but I don't have another N3DS nor money for it. And i don't know if anyone in my lonely town even has a N3DS. So I am eager if 4th method works

Edut: Oh, i just read that it also requires an unbanned 3ds, guess I'm screwed

You could try to see if you could buy /get a seed or OTP file from someone. Method 3 used to allow you to unban with only one 3ds but nobody has been uploading seeds any more

do you have any ideas from who can i try to get a seed/otp?
i just don't really know whom to ask since i'm a newbie here and don't know anyone and as to my town there almost zero chances of someone owning a new 3ds

If all you have is the 0102 ban, you can easily find a seed online. There's no need in attempting the new method because it only pertains to a banned console ID. It's only useful for creating a new NNID and regaining access to the Nintendo Network services like the eShop. It also wouldn't be wise to use a random OTP from someone online as we have no idea if the over sharing of one will lead to the device ID being blacklisted or not. It'd be a better idea to just get a broken one off of eBay and dump its OTP.

I thought that all public seeds were banned. If this is not the case could you point me in the right direction to find a seed. That way I could update the guide.

There is on I found on tumblr, somewhere along the lines of seedSync
at the time it works well

Quick question and I hope this is the correct place to ask it, is it safe to use homebrew in CIA format if you aren't banned? I still wish to play online (Mario Kart 7, Pokemon), but there are a few homebrew apps I use and I'm not sure if I should be using this "Godmode9 Incognito mode" thing I hear about, or if I'm safe just disabling the internet before launching them.
Alot of the info I'm finding is from 2017, when the ban waves occurred, I've been gone since then, has Ninteny become more lax with the 3DS in 2020?

You should be fine. I havent heard of anyone getting banned recently. I would follow the prevent a ban guide on 3ds.guide though.

By disabling that, you won't be able to play games with your friends. Everything mostly suggested in order to not get banned is purely speculative, and there's never been any proof that using homebrew causes a ban. What will get you banned is playing leaked games online before their release date, and cheating online. Just don't do that and you'll be perfectly fine.
