Misc Friend Code Seed B

Hi i bought a n3ds xl and the console was banned. I got a friend code seed b from my cousin and un ban myself. the problem is that now we want to play together online me and him. but we cant. either one of us gets the error code 005-5964. is it because we share the same friend code that we cant play together? or is there any solutions to the problem? we both are running on the latest cfw for 11.13.0 and both games are updated

Id imagine that you both should be able to play with each other with the same seed. A few years ago, hundreds of people were using the same seed. I would discourage you from both playing online at the same time since it could increase the chances of you both getting banned. That being said it took Nintendo months to ban seeds which had hundreds or possibly thousands of people on them.

then why the error code? we tried several games sf4 smash mario kart and still nothing? or perhaps region that dont have the 3ds e shop available?

I'm not sure. I haven't seen two people with the same seed trying to play together so it might just be that two people with the same seed cant play together but can both play online at the same time.
