In this week's episode we start off with our reactions to the official PlayStation 5 user interface reveal, following that we discuss some minor PS5 related news - including the recent backwards compatibility guidelines and sale predictions given by Sony. We also talk a bit about the Mass Effect Trilogy supposedly coming to the Switch, Final Fantasy VII & VIII Remastered getting a physical release, and Call of Duty Modern Warfare finally reducing it's file size. Last but not least, we finish the episode with news about Denuvo games finally getting cracked again, and a PSA by Eric reminding us that piracy is bad.

+1. Didn't they lose a bulk of the DLC source-code? I want to hope they have it, but PS3 version didn't get all the DLC because of some related issue.

Damn, really? You hear about that happening for old games, which is understandable given how much time has passed and how much storage systems have changed from the late 90's/early 2000's until now, but that would've only been a couple of years after the DLC's original release.

This is the result of the company not caring about things and wanting to save money. Unlike Nintendo who preserves all the source code they can. And Sega? Well they still got prototypes from games as old as Golden Axe.

I am indeed a Mass Effect nut, just to add to the list. To the point where I really liked Andromeda. Having the series available on the go definitely intrigues me, but I don't know how many times I want to repurchase the trilogy since I definitely intend to get this remastered collection on the PC. But hey, any chance to punch that reporter while traveling is a win in my book

With how much gaming on PC has increased this year, how come they hsve not released a Master Edition for the PC yet? The games ae old enough thst they have been already pirated anyway.

Maybe they will release it for the new Xbox? Porting the lost DLC is less trouble for that console since it runs a version of Windows.

The collection should also be available for the Xbox and PlayStation, assuming the leaks turn out true (just a reminder that we don’t have actual confirmation on these games yet).

As far as why it doesn’t exist already? Good question. Personally I’ve wanted something like this ever since it became apparent that Andromeda’s story was going nowhere.

I bought mass effect trilogy on ps3, I am pretty sure it has all the DLCs.

Not all DLC is available for PS3--Pinnacle Station is a primary one.

But as for the trilogy, it was missing 30+ DLC packages, 7-8 of them being story related.

I got it for cheap too. They should have released all the DLC with it, but what they were trying to do was to get a bunch of people to pay full price for DLC that wasn't included. #EAthings

Where they messed up was by not releasing ALL of the DLC---ruining the drive of completionists, like myself, from wanting to buy any of it. Crossing my fingers now, that they will be able to include at least all story related content in the new version!
