Recently when I've booted up my 3ds it stays on the black boot up screen longer than it has before, is this because of all the games and stuff I have on it or is it because I leave it plugged in all the time, or is something wrong with it?

Version of Luma3DS?

Gonna need some more information
What CFW and entrypoint are you using?
What is the version number of the CFW?
How big is your SD card?
How was your SD card formatted?
What model of 3DS are you using?
Estimated games/apps/homebrew installed?

I have absolutely no homebrew on my 3ds or anything of the sort, my sd card is 32gb I'm pretty sure. I dunno how my sd card was formatted, probably whatever the standard is for sd cards, my 3ds model is an xl original.

that doesn't sound right. 32GB is the largest recommended by Nintendo, probably for this very reason. my 128GB has about 150-200 games on it, and it's noticeable the length of time it takes longer than when I was on a 64GB. it doesn't take that long though. it takes maybe 3-5 seconds from after my luma boot screen.
