Homebrew Question Tinfoil HBG Ending:Replacement?

If this is the case how does tinfoil decide which one to use?

Is there a priority setting? Is there a tinfoil guide?

Yes we are not going anywhere

HBGshop is closing, as in the server that hosts the files. HBG itself continues. Since JITS and basically any other shop (if there is any) are only gdrive clones of the hbg gdrive, JITS will still offer all the files, only with a slight delay maybe.

Use the drive share (must donate for access), then back up that source to 2 other cloud sources, and then make a local archive that you keep up to date on local RAID-1 (you go obviously go higher but this is costly). Once you're caught up, you can just script daily updates to take place automatically. Afterwards, your local nut server is just as basically as good as HBG.

I know this is all very obvious (and expensive) but when you think about the entirety of what you're storing, it's really not bad at all. Rather have something and not need it than "need" it and not have it (not that video games are life and death - though thats just me!)

I did this with my ps2. I think it was redoctane at the time. Worked great!

Even if theyre your games, if youre updating them on a dirty nand you use cfw on youll still connect to nintendo and get banned. And if you arent on cfw... Then i dont even see why you would be in this thread commenting about updating games

It is an issue and we are working on resolving it. I dont actually believe that is the reason hbg is quitting, but its certainly affecting them and us. We hope to have a fix ready soon.

Yes. But it doesn't matter, every single shop that is still public is quota'd to death.

Yes it is, you can copy it to your own drive and will hit the quotas until its all copied. But once it's all on your drive, the quota wont matter.

If you have a valid SX os or tinfoil license, it can authenticate directly with gdrive over network.
